I see Kate's visited a care home today. I like the navy outfit and camel coat, though she's gone for those very long wide-leg trousers which nearly drag on the ground and look flappy around the ankles. Not convinced by the navy button-style earrings. Get out the jewels, Kate!

Weirdly I used to wear "odd" earrings in the 80s...maybe I'm just ahead of the curve 🤦‍♀️😱🤣

That's a good look on Kate except for the earrings which do look like coat buttons. The new earring stylist needs to go - some very odd choices lately!

Can't see very well from the pictures but I think she has flatter shoes with a block heel rather than the stilettos.

I like todays outfit. Colours are good and it just works well for me, even though it's very simple. Brogues or loafers (flat, mid OR heeled) would have got mega points, as would flat/low mules.

However I can get just about get on board with Leti's dress, and I quite like the earrings too. So you're not entirely alone! Unmatching earrings have been a trend for a while now, in fact I think Leti's worn that pair before.

There's at least one pair in the royal vault as well! Although might be the Danish household...Can't remember now. I'll track them down.

Kate is wearing trousers a lot more recently. Do you think it's because QE2 is no longer around? It was rumoured that she wasn't keen on trousers.

Also does anyone think that POW should just shave all his hair off? He just looks so much older than he is. I feel a bit mean saying that.

He should do a head shave for children in need or something, then if he really hated it he could say it was only temporary and grow it back!

He should definitely let Kate have at it with the dog clippers though.😂

That would look so much better. He's about 40 years too young for a combover. There's no shame in a shaved head - William can join the ranks of Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel and erm, Jason Statham?

On the PoW wearing trousers, no I personally don’t think it has anything to do with HMQ’s opinion. I think we’re seeing an organic evolution of style, that’s all.

Just seen the button earrings I had an identification pair bought in the eighties. They were clip ons. When we moved six years ago they and other pairs of that dynasty style went in the bin. Dang I should have kept them 😅
