I think Kate will turn into a bit of an Anne - I imagine her wearing some of these coats in about 30 years time.

I wonder where her clothes are stored, their new home seems too small.

Oh I doubt she stores them at home. Some, of course. But I expect many are catalogued and kept elsewhere - it’s not as if there’s a shortage of storage space!

For those interested.. Eugenie has just put some VERY cute footage of August on Insta for his 2nd birthday... could a threat to thread mascot Charles 😆

I’m imagining a vast bunker and network of tunnels extending for miles under London. The minions traverse it in little golf carts, with a map and supplies for several days in case they get lost. And that’s just the green coat section 😂

The Royal Wardrobe for Her Maj was a floor at Buckingham Palace, IIRC from Angela's book.

Diana needed more space for clothes at KP, so took over the staff sitting room as a walk in wardrobe. I don't imagine that was popular.

Charles is off to France next month, on his first state visit as King.

Immediately afterwards, he will go to Germany where he will address the Bundestag, the first time a British ruling monarch has done this.

So it should all be very interesting!

I imagine Charles speaks fluent German?
