Speaking of Danish/European Royalty and connections here is a photograph I came across the other day. Taken in Fredensborg, where one of my modest royal residences is situated.

@KillingMeDeftly Yes, one reason why they could marry so many princes and princesses off so successfully across Europe is because they weren't powerful enough to cause problems doing so.

(Just realised I said 2 silver lions! I obviously meant 3...I can usually count!)

I think the lions will look brilliant prowling around my coffee table.

@mathanxiety I agree, I much prefer the more sedate dresses as I find the others just a little too flouncy. But they work well on Daisy, as most flamboyant things do.

I do really love the red sleeveless gown, though. And she looks so relaxed and happy in that photo!

Such a contrast to W&C trip last year that had a off colonial feel. M, W& A, look so engaged.

Max looks fab in white! She wears everything so well.

The Dutch royal family are my favourite as they seem so much fun & normal well as normal as a RF can be.

When Wax was doing his flying with KLM & taking Max & the girls on royal tours or overseas engagements, I can just imagine Max teasing him about his 'driving' 😆

Diana’s gorgeous velvet gown from earlier in the thread sold for over £480,000, several times the higher estimate.

Max is in Aruba and remembered to pack the Pringle!

Kate is out again in a red trouser suit. I really wish she would wear proper jewels, she needs to be more Max!

The red suit is lovely on her, and I agree with jazzing it up with some bling.

I think she has had some really bad cheek fillers😞, I am hoping its just poorly applied blusher, but I suspect it's not.

Looking at this pic it looks like Kate has taken an earring out from the top of her ear. I can’t imagine her with one though. Maybe acupuncture?

Kate looks fabulous in that red suit but yes, a stonking pair of ruby earrings would have finished it off nicely.

The shoulder pads make it look McQueen again. It's an interesting cut face on. Really not into this monochrome theme atm

themessy I agree. Her tweaks are becoming obvious. I hope she has a good team around her who can keep them as natural as possible and not too Hollywood. She's got decades in the public eye yet.

I like the suit but I hate the matchy-ness of it all. And Wills in a red tie is naff.
