Products you loved that were discontinued!

So I was thinking the other day about products that I miss that were discontinued & wished were still available. I have finally found a couple of good substitutes for a couple of them.

Boots Style Works Heat Protection Serum - this was just brilliant & at at low price.
Sub- Wella Deluxe Style Rescue Pre-Styling Serum, very impressed but pricey.

Seventeen BB Blemish Balm - It was amazing, I didn’t wear foundation for about year!

Boots CYO Lifeproof Foundation - just so good.
sub - this goes for Seventeens BB as well, it’s Nars Tinted Moisturiser, it’s absolutely brilliant, it should be at the price as well!

Seventeen Eyebrow Pencil - natural looking brows, really good colour.

Boots CYO On A Roll Mascara - brilliant. Still can’t find a sub.

There’s probably more but can’t think of them at the moment!

I still desperately miss Lush Yuzu & Cocoa shower cream. Never got over them discontinuing it. Still check the website every now and again just in case 😭

Also No 7 used to do an amazing cleansing oil. They changed the formula years ago and it was crap, nothing like the original which was so good on my sensitive skin and never hurt my eyes removing even the toughest most waterproof mascara and eyeliner.

I loved the smell of ten o six. My friend used it and it was a bit strong for my fragile, reactive skin, but I always used some when staying at hers as the smell was so nice.

Andrew Collinge shampoo for fine hair in the blue bottle. This was in the 90's and the fragrance was beautiful, like the ocean.
Great for my hair then they changed it completely.

I used to love the smell of oraganics shampoo. The green bottles back in the 90s not the organix stuff now.

Swan Vesta chicken curry. A 1970s classic.

And another one, Becca Champagne Pop. RIP Becca. Best highlighters and blushers ever.

Body Shop's passion fruit cleansing gel. I can see I'm not the only one!

Apple shower gel, unpolluted by mango, watermelon or any other additions. I had a brand I loved that was discontinued. I've never found a replacement, turns out plain apple is very difficult to get.

Burts Bees blush sticks.

Tigi original oatmeal and honey shampoo. The replacement isn't a patch.

Schwartzkoft gold conditioning treatment.

I check online reasonably regularly so these must either be new lines or have escaped my searches before. Going to try the sour apple.

I miss Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy shampoo in the metal bottles. It smelled amazing. Ditto Charles Worthington shampoo and conditioner.

I miss Prescriptives, so many foundations are too yellow for my very pale, pink-toned skin but their Alabaster shade was perfect.
Clinique has stopped making loads of my favourite lipstick colours but the thing I mourn the most is John Frieda Sheer Blonde Funky Chunky, it was a texturising gel finishing product that gave a lovely piecy finish. I'm not blonde but I used it all the time.

@MissBattleaxe I used to love the Nicky Clarke Hairomatherapy shampoos, I felt so fancy using them!
I miss the Garnier body tonic scrub in the yellow tube and matching body lotion.
Also the Korres fig shower gel (I used to get it from Waitrose)

Garnier triple oil shampoo (both the clear and creamy versions have disappeared sadly, they made my hair soooo fleek)

Garnier hair serum spray

Garnier Maple syrup & castor oil shampoo & the conditioner (another excellent and sorely missed combination, I shake my fists at you Garnier!!)

Maybelline grape lip stain or something. Awesomeness in a lip product

Shisheido body glitter/ shine lotion, Holy grail stuff. No idea where to find it after about 10-12 years. I would pay near enough anything.

@MissBattleaxe @LBB2020 Didn’t Nicky Clarke do a minty conditioner in that range? I loved that! And the bottles were so stylish in the 1990s bathroom!

@GellerYeller Yes, that's ringing a bell! It was gorgeous shampoo and it even made the bathroom smell nice when you got out of the shower.

@LBB2020 I have most definitely seen bottles of Korres fig shower gel in TKMaxx just before Christmas! Old stock?

Tigi Superstar shampoo & conditioner. No idea why they reformulated all their products. I also liked the honey & oatmeal.

Boots traditional skin cream. Cream pot. Absolute dream. Been going for decades then boom. Discontinued. I am yet to find something as good.

Impulse O2 Body Spray

Boots brightening cream cleanser and toner (the pink one and the blue ones) - why Boots why?

Pantene Curls shampoo & conditioner. I mourn the loss regularly

Boots hyluronic skin brightening serum (transparent tube with pinkish cream inside), was as good as or better than the Clarins brightening serum.
