Products you loved that were discontinued!

So I was thinking the other day about products that I miss that were discontinued & wished were still available. I have finally found a couple of good substitutes for a couple of them.

Boots Style Works Heat Protection Serum - this was just brilliant & at at low price.
Sub- Wella Deluxe Style Rescue Pre-Styling Serum, very impressed but pricey.

Seventeen BB Blemish Balm - It was amazing, I didn’t wear foundation for about year!

Boots CYO Lifeproof Foundation - just so good.
sub - this goes for Seventeens BB as well, it’s Nars Tinted Moisturiser, it’s absolutely brilliant, it should be at the price as well!

Seventeen Eyebrow Pencil - natural looking brows, really good colour.

Boots CYO On A Roll Mascara - brilliant. Still can’t find a sub.

There’s probably more but can’t think of them at the moment!

I think Burt's Bees have discontinued their tinted lip balms, which is crazy. Hopefully they will come back. Probably without my HG Sweet Violet shade though 🙄

VirginVie crackling sea body spray, came out the can in a kind of mouse that fizzed and was ice cold so was lovely to use in hot weather, and the fresh smell lasted on the skin for hours- ive never found anything that compares!

Also Escada Margaretha Lea perfume, reminds me of being a teen and first dates and becoming a young adult - would love to smell it again!

Yes @PenguinLove1 i used to love the Virgin Vie sparkling crackling body spray which gave a nice shimmer rather than looking like you’d been in a craft glitter explosion!
I really miss Estée Lauder Spotlight primer, I email them from time to time to see if they’re bringing it back.

And Vivienne Westwood Let It Rock perfume! I’ve got a smidge left but won’t use it, I just sniff the bottle.

I stashed 6 bottles of the CYO foundation

Barbara Daley did a cream highlighter which I miss. If anyone knows a dupe?

Laura Mercier Eau de Lune perfume. I’m not over this yet and eking out what I have left.

Boots No 7 colour pop blusher and also their powder eyebrow palette.

Bourjois smoky ombré eye pencil. I can still get them on Amazon sometimes but I want to be able to pop into Boots and pick them up.

Diorlight foundation was hands down the best ever. I'm still raging 😤

Clinique glossy mascara. Packaging changed and it's not the same and irritates my eyes now.
Sensiq burnt rose blush perfect for pale faced me
Virgin Vie cleansing oil and the vitamin c gel toner with beads in I loved that stuff
Benefit Dr Feelgood primer was perfect and I loved it can't understand why they stopped it
Super glossy curl hair mousse by L'Oréal (curl & shine I think) came in a purple/pink can and disappeared
M&S whipped foundation in porcelain why why why???

I'm enjoying being reminded of these! I remember the No 17 mousse foundation in a silver metal cannister, and the Boots Henna horse chestnut shampoo- both great. I miss Harmony hair dye, in small triangular boxes I think, Body Shop foundation cream compact in a perfect cool shade (it feels like it's always the cool colours of everything that get discontinued!) and Clinique did an amazing glowy, light reflecting foundation.

Gucci Eau de Parfum II. Have searched and searched for something similar. How I wish I'd known they were going to discontinue it so I could have stocked up.

More recently bought an eyebrow pencil from Primark - spoolie one end, twist up pencil the other - it was the exact right shade and drew a lovely thin line. Went to buy another and each time the shelves have been bare. Assuming it's been discontinued.

Max Factor Aqualash mascara. It stayed put!

Bourjois was the only stocked make up shelves when I went into town today.

Lancaster make up and body stuff, especially their fake tan in the mid to late 90s.

Where was that @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor? My local Boots is very small.

Olay did this foaming moisturiser that made my skin look amazing, would love it if they brought it back

was that the Clinique Dewy Smooth it was absolutely gorgeous and made my skin look flawless Clinique are menaces for discontinuing lovely products

Actually it was either Boots of Superdrug,one or the other as we only have them in town , both small.

It was a miracle in a pot for me. Nothing has matched it.

I was skint but this was the only semi decent product I bought regularly. I’m not sure it actually did anything for my hair apart from strip it. I think it must have either smelt lovely or had very good advertising.

Laura Mercier Mineral powder. Never found a better powder. I was a makeup artist and loved this on my skin but always gave a glow and buildable coverage.

Kiku perfume, yellow packaging from Boots I think.
