Products you loved that were discontinued!

So I was thinking the other day about products that I miss that were discontinued & wished were still available. I have finally found a couple of good substitutes for a couple of them.

Boots Style Works Heat Protection Serum - this was just brilliant & at at low price.
Sub- Wella Deluxe Style Rescue Pre-Styling Serum, very impressed but pricey.

Seventeen BB Blemish Balm - It was amazing, I didn’t wear foundation for about year!

Boots CYO Lifeproof Foundation - just so good.
sub - this goes for Seventeens BB as well, it’s Nars Tinted Moisturiser, it’s absolutely brilliant, it should be at the price as well!

Seventeen Eyebrow Pencil - natural looking brows, really good colour.

Boots CYO On A Roll Mascara - brilliant. Still can’t find a sub.

There’s probably more but can’t think of them at the moment!

Flying Fox is back! You can get it in a gift set currently, I'm not sure about on its own though.

I didn’t realise that, I wonder if it was the same scent ?

Miss Dior Cherie, the one from 14 plus years ago.

I managed to find a cellophane wrapped one on eBay from a Far East duty free shop and it's not off which is lucky as it was a lot!

I wish they'd bring back the Original - whenever I wear it I always get asked what I'm wearing? The newer formula which they've update again isn't a patch on the original, popcorn was one of the top notes and I just adore it.

I loved Soft Talk perfume, sold in Miss Selfridge.

Can you see a theme here? Went into Selfridges today and the Dior manager said the mattifying Forever primer’s now been discontinued. Everything is glowy now, woe is me and my shiny face.

Beauty Without Cruelty eye shadows. I loved that brand when I was younger and it was really hard to get make up not tested on animals.

Also Paloma Picasso Minotaur aftershave - smelled gorgeous

Boots cold sore lotion - not actually a lotion, more of an alcohol - awesome stuff!

Radion washing powder - from my student days - smelt sooo good!

Numerous lipsticks over the years!!

It is, essentially, although reformulated from the original.

Aussie heat protection spray. Only thing that takes my hair 🥲

@PooHeads i used to buy my mum Let There Be Light every Christmas. It was great - you still see it on eBay sometimes.

Lush had a soap called Demon in the Dark. Walked into a lush store and asked about it, only the eldest member of staff even knew what I was talking about.
Body Shop beer shampoo? Smelt really satisfying.

Nina Ricci Deci Dela. Loved it.

Thank you. I really loved the smell but a close friend at the time wore it and so I didn’t, as it became “her” scent for a few years. I find I often think of it though and would love to smell it again so I should try to buy some.

Cornsilk translucent powder was amazing and so cheap! Better than any expensive brand.
Estee Lauder double wear light, the new one is nothing like it.

Green soap with a black outer wax, apple and mint. There was a shower gel too

@Shuttheblinds I was just about to say Cornsilk. They used to say all the top make up artists used it. Best thing ever.

I remember buying a gorgeous pinky brown lipstick from miss Selfridge, I've never been able to find anything remotely close since !

Flex Apple shampoo: my god I loved the smell of green apples

Vidal Sassoon Shampoo smelled of almonds

Boots No. 17 Clay cleanser. A delicious smelling brown goo.

Benefit Hollywood glow bronzing cream in a tin, smelt Devine

M & S Formula Facial Cleansing Oil. It left my skin feeling moisturised, soft and glowing.
After trying lots of alternatives, I found one that doesn't dry my skin, but it's not quite the same.

L’Oréal oil cleanser! In a see through orange / gold bottle with a black lid. Was the best make up remember.

Another one for Clinique's Gentle Light Powder. Just perfect and never found anything like it.

I also miss the blue Escada Sport perfume from the 90s.
