Flannels advent calendar opening thread 2022

Thread for anyone who has the Flannels 2022 advent calendar and would like to discuss contents.

In line with the waifs and strays thread I suggest no earlier than 7am for discussing that days contents? Also if we can try to minimise naming the contents still to come as I've tried to forget!

I'm hoping someone will join me, think a few of us got this one as a total bargain

I’m using tret at the moment, and they said not to use anything exfoliating for now, does that sound right? I may have to keep this for later.

@QueefofSheena I think you technically can use both if you're careful and your skin can tolerate it, but if you've been advised not to I'd save it for later.

Acqua di parma bath and shower gel today. Quite a small bottle but a nice scent. It'll get used.

Palette is lovely - though annoyingly I already have this one from a Cult Beauty edit/box. It will make a nice stocking filler for someone though. Or maybe I could go on the swap thread and tout it for something else!

What does everyone think of todays? Was surprised it wasn’t in a box or sealed? Is that right?

Mine looks ok not sure how it's meant to come ? Am excited to try this as I have the SC face massager so will use in conjunction. Off to google how much it's worth !

Yeah looks okay too and I tried it already was just wondering. Was quite rich so I think a little will go along way. It’s 50ish!!

I've had a few bottles of the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial in advents/beauty boxes before and it's a nice product, but not 'wow' enough to make me want to buy with my own money. I don't think anything in it is massively strong (despite it saying it contains Vitamin A) so it's not going to make a heap of difference aside from feeling nice to use. I imagine this day time one might be the same? If it's anything like the nighttime one though it's a) quite strong/distinctive smelling and b) quite oily and takes a while to sink in.

I'll try slapping it on tomorrow morning!

Still a bit bummed that all the drawers are in order on this calendar. I never got a chocolate one this year so the only time I play "find the door" is with the dog's Lily's Kitchen one!

Doublecleansed - I got my kids to move the boxes around to mix the numbers up as I was also annoyed by it being in order!

yep that sounds exactly how it is! Definitely wasn’t expecting it to be so greasy.

I moved a few boxes too to have an element of surprise and didn’t peek either!!

Happy with the mascara , have extensions on just now so it will go into my stash drawer
Used the Sarah Chapman this morning really liked it , it smells nice but quite strong , I could smell it off my face at the gym!! Hoping for beautiful smooth skin as used it in conjunction with my massager .
Am using everything as I go along which is not like me , I'm trying to not squirrel stuff away as much and this thread is helping as I want to sample things right away!

Bit meh about today's. Not a huge fan of this brand.

Has anyone tried anything they've really liked from the calendar so far? (I might have a go with the exfoliating mask tonight).

Do you think anyone would buy these sample things if they are sold in a store? I spritzed one before work thinking I'd get nice whiffs but nothing at all . Will use them up but a bit underwhelmed
