October's Beauty Drop box is en route. Time for a new thread! 💄

Slightly underwhelmed by the box this time, though I do love trying a new cleanser. Another handcream though? Perfume is ok-ish, but very little is managing to distract me from the perfume I got for Christmas at the moment, so it'll have to wait.

I love the car freshner though (but would never pay 12 quid!) - don't bin them, send them to me!

Happy to swap my hand cream if anyone wants to get rid of their cleansers?

My first box and I’m really pleased , even though I have the OU perfume , which doesn’t actually spray
I’ve turned my box inside out , which I am remarkably pleased with 👍

I have a damp old car , which the air freshener will hopefully help
( though I didn’t expect to find anything like that in a beauty box ! )

My box arrived today too. Lovely treat on a January day.

I joined in December to save for the advent calendar next year. Was pleasantly surprised to receive a box within a week of joining- they sent me the October box which I was not expecting. It was definitely a nice surprise.

Today’s box was ok. The air freshener made me laugh but our car stinks of fumes of something so hopefully it will help!

Nothing majorly exciting but the boxes are just a nice bonus for me really.

@MonsoonMadness First Direct Regular Saver pays 7%, but you can only pay in 300 pm. On the beauty drop I have used Omorovieza moor cream cleanser before and like it.

Oooh thank you for the tip, I have been very distracted by family illness stuff but my new years resolution is to sort my savings accounts.

I am using the beauty box money to save up and treat myself next Christmas (if I manage to hold off that long! ). DH is lovely in so many ways but not brilliant at gifts, this way I can treat myself either to the advent calendar or to some jewellery.

It’s only for FD current account holders though.

If I sign up to the Liberty Beauty Drop today or in the next few days do you think I will get the January box or will I have to wait till April?
What have others experienced?

A few years ago I had a car freshener in a Latest in Beauty beauty box. It was a Rituals Sandalwood one.

I think you would probably get the January box. I joined in November and got the October box. Do it! They’re a lovely little treat!

What you need for the damp is a Pingi bag. It soaks up the water, then you microwave it for a few minutes and put it back in. About £8. Makes a huge difference - I've used them for years in various cars with wet dogs getting in and out.

@RedCarsGoFaster I actually have 2 of those bags ( one in , one out !)
If it’s really cold , I have to scrape the inside of my front window as well as the outside ( brrrrrr )

We were looking at similar things for our house but we figured that when you heat them, the water will just transfer into the house as it evaporates?

Tried the perfume today - really like. I had the Muse Gold.
Also love the car air freshener.

I had the musc gold perfume and tried it this morning and it's really growing on me.

I agree with @MidnightConstellation . The pedants can argue all they like about the legal definition of free (on a S & B forum! ) but this is the bottom line really.

I have been told replacements are on their way! Having originally been told that I would get them when they were back in stock (which I suspect would be the 12th of Never to misquote Donny Osmond!).

Style & Beauty has now influenced me to buy a dehmidifier bag for my car - I'd never heard of them before. Hopefully it'll be a step up from the ancient muslin I keep in the car for drying the inside of the windscreen in the mornings.

My box has finally arrived. I got the Musc perfume and I really like it although I seen to be in the minority

Ha ha! Happy to help with damp cars. 😂

No more than cooking already does? It takes I think 7-8mins in the microwave, then I leave it on the side to cool down before I put it back into the car.
