I'm a bit frustrated as I thought if there was nothing else I wanted I could spend it on oskia. But then they stopped stocking oskia.

I suppose if all else fails I will buy clothes.

But if they do any more coffee scrubs I will definitely cancel.

LoveLabradors · 17/10/2022 14:54

Yes no Ren tonic, no coffee, no Margaret Dabbs, no rubbish AA rollerball or black eyeliner! Or noble isle!

dontgobaconmyheart · 17/10/2022 15:54

@Housewife2010 - excellent tip, will definitely be copying that.

My drop box arrives tomorrow. I wasn't saving up for anything in particular and didn't want the advent calendar or the pending GWP so spent my balance at the beginning of the week when there was the £30 of £150 spend. I had £300 of bits in my basket, the discount gave two lots of £30 off, so £60 discount total, and I had £150 worth of vouchers so felt like I got a lot for my money. Sorted a couple of Christmas presents and treated myself to a diptyque candle and perfume and some Kiehls bits I wanted to try.

I actually do like the REN tonic, so was happy to get a full size in the last box but didn't really love anything else that came in it so we'll see what's in store this time, as I've spent all my vouchers I might cancel for a bit if it's underwhelming. I'm sure rejoining won't be an issue.

Cyclingmummy1 · 17/10/2022 17:47

I'm hoping for a body scrub as I'm about out. I liked the REN. And I loved the Sarah Chapman mask, I'd never have bought it.

PomRuns · 17/10/2022 18:01

Thanks for the new thread and the excellent tip @Housewife2010

delilahhey · 17/10/2022 20:39

I’m not in tomorrow so hoping my box doesn’t get left on the door step 😭
I have the advent calendar too and I’m wondering if it’s all a bit too much. I only ordered for the Le Labo really but I hate this one and I’ll have to sell it on

legosunqueen · 17/10/2022 20:52

Nightmare - Yodel tracking shows that my box was delivered through my letterbox today - except that it wasn't 😂 so something lovely has turned into something annoying & stressy...

EasterIssland · 17/10/2022 21:22

@dontgobaconmyheart which candle :)

Thank you for the new thread @Housewife2010. I love the box idea too! I will be copying that to wrap a secret Santa gift!

PomRuns · 18/10/2022 06:35

Not at all tempted by the GWP- bit poor tbh.

Housewife2010 · 18/10/2022 06:55

Re the Surratt Lid Lacquer in the GWP, it was in the Liberty AC three years ago and I thought it was terrible. -greasy creasy mess.

Oh that gwp looks pretty nice to.me. but it's advent Calendar season. So I'm not sure I need it. No, that's not true. I know I don't need it.

TabithaTittlemouse · 18/10/2022 07:12

I did the last GWP so I’m going to be good.

I’m hoping that my box isn’t put on the door step again!

AprilLady · 18/10/2022 07:14

A good few full sizes in the GWP. But it is very haircare focussed. Also a mix of good stuff - nice to see a full size Olaplex 6 rather than 3 - and some rubbish: the Aime supplements, the detangler brush, the body scrub…

For me, the spend is too high for what it is - going to give this one a miss.

functioningadult · 18/10/2022 07:17

Not going for the GWP as too many repeats to make it worthwhile for me. Hoping for some decent Christmas kits to spend my BD credit.

PomRuns · 18/10/2022 07:23

So many misses:
body scrub
surrat
hand gel
hiurglass mascara (love it but it dries up v quickly)
yet another detangler

I’m going to get the a aveda offer (£25 set with (£45 spend) instead.

NotMyDayJob · 18/10/2022 07:29

Not that awful body scrub again, it's banned in my house. The shower needs a full clean after use

HuzzahIndeed · 18/10/2022 07:45

Sigh. The yodel fun has begun. Apparently it has been delivered this morning. It hasn't.

If I'd known they used yodel I would have thought again about signing up.

Zeeza · 18/10/2022 07:49

Does anyone use the scrub? Has anyone ever bought it? I don't even lass it on to friends in case it damages their bathroom. Straight into the bin.

supadupapupascupa · 18/10/2022 08:19

For some reason I haven't had the GWP email? I have all the others!

LoveLabradors · 18/10/2022 08:19

Nooo! The coffee scrub is back! That GWP is made up of bits and bobs from recent beauty kits. Very poor indeed for such a high spend and a supposed exclusive BD offer. I will be passing. Just as well really for my bank account!

BurningTheToast · 18/10/2022 08:19

Nope, not tempted by that GWP, which is probably a good thing! I’ve seen that Byredo hand gel a few times - does anyone know if it’s any good? I like their products usually.

And more coffee scrub….

supadupapupascupa · 18/10/2022 08:19

I can't find an Aveda offer??

doublecleansed · 18/10/2022 08:28

That coffee scrub is the worst beauty product I’ve ever used. Also, it’s literally just coffee granules isn’t it? If I wanted that mess/smell I could just crack open the Nescafé.

I had some stuff in my basket ready for the GWP but not very excited by it. A lot of the products are things that were in Liberty kits etc…makes me think they’re using up leftover bits. I might hold out for the Christmas sets/crackers instead and hope they’re good this year. I really need to spend some of this credit soon!
