October's Beauty Drop box is en route. Time for a new thread! 💄

I used my beauty drop credit. I'd got £120 plus a loyalty voucher
Just add products to basket, GWP drops in automatically (make sure you're signed in or have gone via your email notification ) then when you come to pay, select voucher (twice if you have loyalty ones too) and pay the difference on your card if there's not enough. I had to put £30 ish quid towards it.

Morning! Just to say there's an email this morning about a new kit...

Also....did they send out a box in January? I was away and I don't think I got mine....what was in it?

Hmmm, that new kit seems a bit “we cobbled this together from advent calendar leftovers”, doesn’t it? Hard pass for me.

I am intrigued by the tomato candle

But there was nothing that really tempted me.

For once I have the email on time, I saw it on time and I’m all ready and waiting to pounce on their next offering but it’s just not for me 😂

Hopefully this means there’s more to come though.

I had the bath soak from a previous box. I found it overpowering - I prefer natural aromatherapy scents for bath soaks. And yes the rest looks like leftovers from advent! Loved my relax kit from last week so quite content to enjoy that. So agree with PP (April lady I think) who said Liberty need to see the success of the relax kit - because it was all new products (not the usual suspects), an unusual item like the hot water bottle, a lovely wash bag and reasonably priced. This new box is dull.

Not a patch on the last kit! I guess Mother's Day attracts a market who are less discerning?

Can only assume that tomato candle is secretly good as I've seen it a few times in things!

Not impressed with the Mothers Day edit.

Also it occurred to me that two separate kits would be welcome - not everyone has a bath in their home or is able to use a bath (disability, age, cost), so bath oils and bath salts are useless for much of the world these days.

Perhaps offering an alternative edit for kits like this would be interesting for them, especially if they marketed it properly as inclusion.

I don’t like baths anymore so a kit with bath salts is a no from me.

The tomato candle was in the advent calendar I think? I didn’t have the Liberty calendar but I’m sure I saw people talking about it.

I could be wrong, but I think everything apart from the bath salts was in the advent? That mascara was also in last week’s GWP, wasn’t it? They must have truckloads of them!

Bath salts don't suit me either - but old hat, bath salts for Mother's Day.

Nothing about this has remotely grabbed my interest, and bath salts seem to be included everywhere to bulk up the size of things.

I agree this kit is completely underwhelming. I really shouldn’t be buying anything right now, so I was rather relieved the kit was so rubbish!

Liberty, if you are reading this:
Olaplex: how about including the new dry shampoo which I expect lots of us would like to try?
Candle: nice idea (and I’m one of the minority who like the tomato smell) but something not included in the most recent advent calendar please. Something different from Diptyque maybe?
Perfume: Again, great to include a travel size perfume. I love Peony Couture, but I have it already from the calendar/previous kits. How about something new instead?
Bath salts: Meh, bath/body oils can at least be used in the shower too. And again, something different please.
KS ExfoliKate: This was ubiquitous in advent calendars last year, and I can’t even give the stuff away. Almost any other face mask would have been better.

Oh yes that exfolikate is in everything.
Perhaps no one actually purchases it and is is exclusively made for GWP or kits 🤔

The exfolikate works a little too well for me. Really brightened my skin but it also gave me a small burn mark on my face a couple of weeks ago...still hoping it'll fade away eventually

People definitely buy it. It's one of the brand's mbig sellers in the US. It didn't use to be available in the UK (I used to buy it in the US and bring it back) but now the brand is in the UK, Liberty and other retailers seem to be flooding the market with it. I'm happy as it means I can pick it up cheap on Ebay. I think people are almost as sick of it as they are of that bloody Ren AHA Tonic. 😂

So underwhelmed by the Mother's Day kit. Absence of a nice wash bag instantly knocks it back for me.

It's just a bit meh!
