October's Beauty Drop box is en route. Time for a new thread! 💄

It can be spent on anything. A few people bought jewellery in the sale.

I'm cancelling. I'm struggling to spend my credit and the boxes aren't enough to keep me subscribed.

The car freshener is a weird inclusion! It smells strangely medicinal and is sooooo strong! It's made my whole house stink. It's going in the bin.

I got the Musc perfume which is vile. It has staying power though, I put a spray on this morning and unfortunately I can still smell it on my wrist.

I'm looking forward to trying the Omorovicza when my current cleanser runs out.

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants My Musc spray works. I’ve just tried it out. It smells like a very trad men’s aftershave. I picture an Italian wearing it in the 1970s.

Happy to post my Musc perfume on if anyone wants it. I'll just be putting it in the bin otherwise. Message me.

I signed up to try and channel my beauty spending but it’s not working well so far 😂

I probably wouldn’t have chosen liberty if it wasn’t for the free boxes so I think I might prefer to put £20 away and spend it anywhere I like at the end of the year.

It's a no from me. A car air freshener. I appreciate it is free but it's not encouraging brand loyalty or repurchasing which I take it is the point

I actually bought the car air freshener last year as I love the Big Sur scent!! It’s run out now so looking forward to getting another one!!

I've avoided this thread all day so I had a surprise with my box. Here's the photo. Don't forget to open the box carefully, then you can open it out and refold it the opposite way to make a nice Liberty print box.
I've been with the Beauty Drop since the beginning. I don't always find that boxes very exciting, but they are nice and often tend to be tiny sizes of expensive products. You can spend the saved money on anything and there is free postage on all your orders. I'm really happy with the subscription.

I actually love the air freshener and the perfume. The serum is fantastic, I have the full size and some from a calendar. The cleansers are a bit dull, certainly 2 of them but they sound interesting. Always happy to have a hand cream.

My main issue is it’s encouraging me to spend more as opposed to save, which is the reason I signed up. That’s just me though, nothing against liberty or the drop.

My first box so it’s a bit of a mixed bag. That air freshener claims to be £12! 😱 it’s in my car, and is quite strong. I was pleased to see a couple of the other items. I’m using it to save up for either the AC or some premium products at the end of the year.

I can't make my mind up about this box. It's always a nice surprise especially as it's technically free, but this one seems a really odd selection.

I'm hoping the ability to use across all store categories will stay as I really want some Liberty wallpaper and hoping to redecorate in the spring.

@Okaydonkey well, I have two! Did they give you the 6 things, or do you have 5 and they've just missed it. I did speak to customer services, but you may get better than a 'sometime' response!

@Orangeslemon mine isn't like that I don't think. I've even taken it to bits, and tried to use it without the spray, and it isn't playing the game!

It maybe won't be my favourite perfume ever, but I just feel I've missed out! Obs not quick enough, and Solo beat me to the offer!

I also don't think that the handcream would be the same value as the serum, but I'm prepared to be wrong!

@Blossomtoes I realise the box is technically free, thanks for doubting my critical thinking skills The point is that I only give them my money upfront because there is a freebie incentive. It's not as much of an incentive if someone is bodging up the box, and also putting faulty stuff in there! Do you see what I mean?

Just come home to my box. Car air freshener was the last thing I would have guessed for a Liberty Beauty box! Keeping us on our toes.

I haven’t opened or sniffed anything yet, but I’m happy with another hand cream for travel and 2 face cleansers are really useful for me to take to gym. Can’t complain as I’m using the spend on children's gifts and jewellery - even if I am the only idiot that bought the Astley Clarke Polaris earrings for £92 rather than £40!

Yes, I get the point about faulty items and I agree. But to be fair that isn’t what you originally complained about. And it’s not technically free, it costs nothing.

I'm pretty happy with the box. I think two very similar products was a bit annoying but I actually quite liked the mixture otherwise, but it's my first box so it will depend how the mixture is over the year.

Nice car air freshener never a bad thing with tween boys to taxi around

TBF @SweetSakura the boxes are normally pretty good. Had I got what was on the list, and a working perfume, it would have been fine. They are a nice FREE TREAT (apparently I need to put this in caps)

I'm weirdly pleased with the air fresher, as had been considering buying it as a cheaper way of trying that DS & Durga scent (I'd tempted by the candle).

I got the Musc perfume which is really not doing for me, despite me generally liking musk. Would have loved to have samples of all three to see which we like best.

Rest of contents are fine - cleanser and hand creams always handy. I'm probably cancelling soon, as don't really need/want to accrue any more credit (still got a load to spend) but it's been nice while it lasted.

What happened about the new kit Liberty were going to launch? I thought it was meant to be last week?

Ive just had a squirt of the musc - flashbacks to squirting random perfumes found on my friends mums dressers when I was about 6. It smells exactly like something else but what??? Don’t say cats piss 😂

I join the two other people who are actually delighted with the car freshener - also have two smelly boys
