A sad start to a new thread, but I hope we can celebrate the legacy of Elizabeth Regina, what a woman, and what style!

They almost look like they’ve both tried to recreate the same makeup tutorial.

I notice that Meghan’s been wearing more pinky tones whereas she usually goes for peaches. She’s lucky she’s so beautiful, she can carry anything off!

Kate is wearing earrings formerly belonging to Diana.

Not keen on Sophie's outfit she usually gets it so right, this is too fussy and a bit frumpy on her.

I think everyone has done the Queen proud really. And a wee bit diamond or a bonny string of pearls has elevated some outfits into impossibly elegant.

I felt an oddity on Sunday as I was the only person ‘dressed’. But it was important for me to look as smart as a carrot and if I’d have been able to still wear my uniform I would have.

Poor souls though. There is no accessorising grief and sorrow.

@justasking111 yes I noticed that earlier, thought he was about to faint or collapse.

I watched part of it, and it was a lovely ceremony. Not much to say about the clothes, there wasn’t much footage of anyone in particular, just the event itself if you see what I mean. Camilla looked beautiful, a great hat and an unusual brooch, I don’t know what it was though.
I didn’t like Sophie’s outfit, it was a bit full sleeved and shiny, very Victorian nightie.
Kate was a bit pink, but then they all were when I looked again so maybe it was hot.
Zara also looked very elegant, they all did really.
It was sad watching it, but it was very impressive. I feel a bit guilty for admiring how sparkly the crown was 😳

Megan's hat suits her so nicely. The earrings are beautifully understated.

I couldnt see if she had the makeup look she had at her wedding where she lets her freckles show through which i thought was gorgeous. Nothing prettier than freckles!

Meghan is wearing the pearl and diamond earrings given to her by the Queen when they did their first outing together.

When I saw Camilla's shoes it give me a bit of a lump in the throat as they just reminded me so much of HMQ's shoes with the block heel.

That's a very sweet touch.

I like how elegant her hat is.

Kate looks exhausted, as do all the Queen's children. It must be so hard to have to put a brave face on in such a public setting, for so many days.

I was looking at Camilla's shoes and remembering that Angela Kelly used to wear them in for the Queen so she didn't get blisters! I hope Angela is being looked after.

Did anyone see princess Alexandra?

I believe Angela Kelly has been gifted the use of her cottage for life

Mary, Queen of Scots' pearl earrings on the crown. Also the Black Prince's ruby.

Yes I noticed them too, they moved beautifully.
