The State Trumpeters with EIIR emblazoned on their uniforms got me. Their last time performing for their Queen. Now just a snotty mess.

"Sleep, Dearie, Sleep" was the Piper's Lament.

I missed this just caught the end. I will watch later on iplayer. He was the piper from Balmoral apparently who would play every morning at 9am, not sure about that when you’ve had a hard night hitting the single malt !

Perhaps to be fair to him he just didn’t feel able and didn’t want to cry. I know sometimes if I sing I find it very hard to control my emotions.

There was a definite God Save the Qu-ing at times. And even harder with the him/her or he/she bits in the other verses.
