A sad start to a new thread, but I hope we can celebrate the legacy of Elizabeth Regina, what a woman, and what style!

As they were walking just now, DH commented about Meghan's lack of jewellery so I told him that she doesn't wear much....Kate's necklace is fab though.

No he was absolutely knackered. The physical effort they are undertaking. The one in front was sweating.

I’m not surprised can’t imagine the pressure and nerves !

Is Kate's a Catherine Walker? I really do t like that necklace. Think it's an awkward shape to wear.

According to the CNN commentators here in the US, there is myrtle in the flowers from the same planting that gave myrtle for the Queen's wedding bouquet. I think that same myrtle has also featured in the weddings of some of the related European royals.

The Dyke of Kent looks very frail now. It's his third state funeral - he marched as a teenager when George VI died and then there was Churchill too.

Myself and DH have just been saying how absolutely incredible the bearer party have been - I think it's been the same guys since arrival at Westminster Hall last week. I know they've probably practised it a gazillion times, but even so... a huge responsibility.

Catherine looks fabulous. She always looks beautiful and elegant in funeral attire. It reminds me of Fleabag “oh what the hell, you look incredible”😬😆

I know I said if before but they look beautiful. There's obviously different types of pink roses, looks like hydrangeas, hypericum berries (?) and yellow roses in there.

Apparently James Blunt was part of the procession or vigil for the Queen Mother back in the day. He was in the Household Guards (I think)

I think it's McQueen - looks to me like a black version of the white/ivory she wore to trooping the colour earlier this year.

He's 86, quite frail - no Duchess.

He looks far frailer than the late queen ever did, even right up to the end, and he's 10 years younger. Prince Michael also looks very doddery and he's "only" 80.
