A sad start to a new thread, but I hope we can celebrate the legacy of Elizabeth Regina, what a woman, and what style!

Just spotted Rose Hanbury 👀 Jill Biden looks lovely, haven't spotted Max yet but I'm looking out for a big hat!

Jill Biden has just gone in to the Abbey wearing a lovely black suit. I like her style.
Rose Hanbury too just arrived looking smart, wearing a very large brooch.

This is a very good point. I had thought I heard Kate had said only Louis understood that their granny had died.

I think she said it was the other way around - George understands, Charlotte to a lesser extent but Louis hasn’t really grasped it yet. Which is understandable given that he’s only 4.

Are George and Charlotte the only GGC in attendance? I can understand why the youngest ones wouldn't attend (imagine Louis!) but I would've thought Peter Phillips' daughters and Zara's oldest would be there.

I've noticed a fair few of the ladies wearing brooches, like a little personal tribute.

It may be that there isn’t enough room for more - it was already a problem to fit everyone in, I think. So my guess is that Charlotte and George will attend at Westminster Abbey and other great grand children will attend at Windsor.

I know she’s not a royal but Carrie Johnson looks very chic today. I love the belt.

Oops, This shows how much interest I usually take in the royal family! I have no idea who is oldest but now you have said that I do remember that George was the first as my daughter got a commemorative coin at school when he was born.

There's a black lady with a gentleman in uniform - she looks stunning, beautiful dress and hat and the most stunning jewellery. Missed where they were from.

I thought she looked pretty good being an old bird myself lol. Not a fan of hers though!
