Is the Boots website basically unusable for anyone else?

Everytime I search for something, it makes me sign in... then it tells me I'm signed in elsewhere... then when I try to pay, I have to keep signing in again and again!

Is it just me?

I've given up using the website & app - find most stuff on Amazon or in the shop instead.

Yes, it’s terrible. Constantly getting to sign back in, you lose your place, you can’t pay, etc etc. Then if you find the thing you want it’s got Stock Coming Soon written underneath, lol. I shop there less and less.

It's not just me then!

I find the site and app absolutely infuriating.

I regularly get notifications pop up, but when you click on them it doesn't actually yake you to the thing it is notifying you about 🙄

I've got the app - it's been "ok" but they take an age to deliver anything so I've given up and either get it (whatever it is) elsewhere or go in the shop. I do enjoy spending the points though!

Yes it's dire. I use it to look up products then buy/order them in store. If they're open. But that's another thread!

Terribly bad. I don't know how they don't sort it out. I give up shopping with them (even though I have a shed load of advantage points!)

Their delivery is painfully slow too

...and Heaven forbid you should try to pay with points.

I got so fed up of their crappy website, I've cashed in all my points and only shop at Boots actual stores for medication. Everything else comes from Superdrug and Look Fantastic (who also do decent discounts on the high-end stuff).

I have exactly the same problem, OP, when I use the laptop. I can order stuff on my phone no problem. I don't use the app on either.

It’s terrible. Deliveries are a total nightmare too.

So are their stores - they’re all grotty, with empty shelves and barely enough staff to keep them going. I guess they’re the next high street casualty.

You can’t use their gift cards online either! We got a few gift cards for Boots when we had our baby and could only use them instore, and our local Boots branch isn’t the best in terms of stock.

I feel like Boots and WHSmiths haven’t updated their websites since first getting one and so the launch of a whole new site is well overdue.

I also don’t like how many categories and subcategories you have to click through to get to a range of products, but the signing in repeatedly is something that I thought only happened to me and is a huge annoyance!

I had a similar problem using my laptop, constantly being signed out. Also when I put in my address it tells me that it's wrong , even though I have had stuff delivered before😫Very annoying.

I know, how has it been so awful for so long?! I took my custom elsewhere because of having to pay to use their online click and collect service on top of navigating the awful website. I used to spend loads at Boots but will probably never go back to it now. Shame, it was somewhere I loved in my teens!

My god I thought it was just me! How are they so bad! I've given up too - deliveries taking too long, glitchy website/app and the final straw was orders not going through - they'd take the money out but no email or acknowledgement, and when I called they said there was no order but it would take 10 days for the money to come back through. Happened on 3 separate occasions before I gave it up! Awful.

You used to! That may have changed since but it’s too late now, I’ve gone elsewhere!
