@popularinthe80s I have two the same style, one in black and one in orange. They were both from a local boutique and don't really have a brand on. I can post a picture so you can do a reverse google image search if you like? It'll have to be tomorrow as we are away camping for the weekend.

I'm have just stopped myself from buying a new dress/jumpsuit for my graduation I have enough outfits, I'm thinking of one of these dresses I'm not sure the shoes work but don't want to wear heels especially as there's a lot of standing around.

Also do I keep these shorts I think so?

@Sickoffamilydrama love both dresses but I'd be inclined to go with the red. The reason is a practical one. Presumably you'll be robed up? I think the green may get a bit creased up beneath a bulky robe. The red would emerge looking in better shape. Also, although DD has her Masters graduation this month, back in March we attended her belated undergrad, and I noticed a lot of prints on graduates' dresses. So I'd say go with print for that reason! And you're so wise not to wear heels. I worried about a lot of the poor lasses clumping up onto the stage!

@popularinthe80s - I think I have shown these two bags recently, brown one is from Kissora, it's a Japanese brand specializing in leather goods, and blue/green/white one is from Michael Kors (we are moving soon so please ignore cardboard boxes).

Today I'm wearing a Boden t-shirt and Uniqlo shorts.

it’s another Sunday of watching DH mix concrete. He’s finished the patio and is now concreting in a parasol. I think it’s taking his mind off his mum. Woke up at 6 to both cat and dog vomit. Joy!

We are back from camping, it was a very basic site with nothing but running water (cold) so I've been roughing it. No photos of my camping attire I'm afraid 🤣
Home now and we are heading out for tea. New cheapie dress from Matalan. I read on another thread that maxi dresses and denim jackets are now considered dated. I've my denim jacket since 2016 and it replaced one which was almost exactly the same that had since I was at university 23 years ago. So i guess mine is pretty historical but I'm happy for it to stay 😁 There's plenty life in the old dog yet I reckon.

@Sickoffamilydrama I think the red pleated dress is perfect 👍

I think maybe the shoes are a bit heavy for the dresses, could you wear some flat sandals instead?

@Shannith I did a few hours paddle boarding on Friday. I just love it.

no outfits here. Have spent most of the weekend in scruffs. Just cleaning and tidying as we go away next week. Hopefully to some sun shine.

I have just ordered some ted baker joggers and some new Nike waffle trainers. I wanted the Hoff Samoa but they are out of stock in my size. Had a deliver of loads of shorts last week and none of them were right so they’ve gone back!

I love the red dress @Sickoffamilydrama but agree or could do with some lighter shoes. You dress so well for your shape everything is really flattering. I often feel like I am just wearing a sack. Did you have an analysis or did it just come naturally?

@EllaPaella I wear dresses and denim jackets! If we aren’t meant to wear cardigans what are we meant to wear?!

Thanks for the trouser love @faffadoodledo . I bought them from a charity shop last year because they are made of thin cotton so ideal for the British summer- saves me from wearing sunscreen and cover the horrible varicose veins. I love your dress and yellow accessories for the graduation. They will be perfect.

@Sooverthemill another vote for the lovely red dress. Hope you enjoy your graduation at last! I would keep the shorts and i am jealous of your legs.

Thanks I was thinking the same got these on ebay today they are a low wedge hopefully they will work only cost about £8 all in.

Thanks @Softpebbles you never look sack like, some of it is trial and error I used to be slimmer strangely enough when I had a more active job and only 2 children. I did lose my way post DS but feel like I'm getting it back. I have done the kibbe body types recently which helped a little, I find taking photos for here really helps.
