I’m wearing too tight PJ bottoms, no make up and a fleece. I’m WFH and have refused to go on Teams video on account I’m ill and full of cold. No one has objected. No one knows about the hideous mess I look.

I think I am going to buy another silk shirt after all. I have some linen shorts it should look nice with in summer and I could always wear it to work too!

@WestrayWife I really like your shoes. They look perfect for when it's a bit too cool for sandals but you don't want to wear trainers. And they also look lovely!

Office yesterday - rare occurrence for me these days. Dress - Sainsburys; shoes - Clarks. Green dress is a new purchase from Apricot.

Tomorrow we were meant to be going to an event I booked for DH for Christmas in 2019...it's been postponed twice and now finally cancelled due to illness with two days to go 😩 We're going to decide today what to do instead - hopefully something that still gives me a chance to get dressed up!

Does anyone use / rate a clothes steamer?
I CBA with ironing ( but do do it anyway). I'd imagine shirts would always need an iron - so it's more about decreasing other clothes really - dresses / tshirts etc

I’ve never had a silk shirt. I struggle with shirts, they always seem to gape across the bust.

debating buying some air and Grace sandals ….. 🤦‍♀️

skirt - not keen I’m debating charity bagging. Old next, chucked my sweaty Betty hoody as it’s not all that warm.

@Softpebbles I feel the same about shirts...I usually end up buying them oversized for that reason.

@toucaninjapan - I get them dry cleaned (and always wear them with a layer underneath so that I get several wears before having to get them cleaned).

I loooove my steamer @missfliss. I don’t iron - life’s too short - and a wee swish over with the hand held steamer does the job brilliantly for most things.
It’s a bank holiday here today, no idea why but I don’t care! Chilling on the patio as the weather is surprisingly nice today, albeit quite breezy. About to go out with PurplecatDog, so will change purple Uggs, for boots, lol. Leggings from Fabletics, and grey, sleeveless jacket thing from All Saints, with jumper from Forbidden Tribes.

@Purplecatshopaholic can you recommend any particular steamer?

I just checked mine @missfliss - it’s from Amazon. It’s light and easy to use, I love it. Sorts out wrinkles and creases really well, between dry cleans, or after washing.

I had a hellish meeting this morning so paid a visit to my favourite vintage shop at lunchtime. Bought this beauty.
1950s, cotton and machine washable. The pattern matching on the seams is sublime. I may wear it at a Jubilee event, but couldn't wait to give it a west in the garden when I got it home!

Someone at work told me they liked my style as I 'always look so comfy'. Lol! Vancouver is an extremely casual city, I think I need to up my game and start dressing slightly smarter. Not today though!
