I'm wearing Hush jeans, M&S cardi, Asos top, DM sandals. Studying at home today and keep dashing outside to catch the few minutes of sun we have until it disappears again.

Hi everyone, allow me to de-lurk myself. I’ve been watching you lovely ladies since I discovered mumsnet several months ago, and I must say you’ve all been a huge inspiration.
DD recently turned 1, my maternal leave was over and now I am trying to get used to wearing feminine clothes once again, not just plain tees with jeans. And I feel like this is the right place to motivate myself so here I am.
Let me start with this outfit I wore for my business trip the other day.

We have lots of sun here today, so I dared wear white jeggings which I recently got from Uniqlo. Unfortunately they look and feel too thin & cheap. Such a shame, other Uniqlo jeggings I have have been amazing and I had high hopes for these ones.😩

well the weather is a major disappointment to me. I’m guessing I’ll be in trainers or slippers by the end of the day.old dog wandered off today and we had to have a little search party. Dead, blind and demented!

Thanks so much @Cocoandcleo, @EllaPaella and @Softpebbles. I'm really pleased with the trousers - they have a matching blazer, too, but was too warm for it the other day! Only thing with them is the quality isn't brilliant, like lots of Zara stuff, so they've bobbled a bit already, which is a shame. They're quite fun and a bit different for the office, though. I agree there's lots of that colour about this year - which I'm glad about as I LOVE green!

Today I pushed myself to wear one of my long dresses before it gets too hot for them. (Please ignore dirty mirror, my toddler loves to put her food on it).
Mixing lavender with yellow is a bit adventurous for me, but the cardi has some lilac color on it so I guess it's okayish and I needed to throw sth on to battle morning chills.

Wish I had a beige or a lavender bag to style with it, but I didn't, so had to go with a black shoulder bag instead.

I have been loving Uniqlo much lately, and this silk blouse is definitely one of my best buys.
