I got the clippers out today to cut mine, and did my toenails too.

I have silver with silver glitter on top now nearly always , I call them my “disco nails “but my favourite still is a French with the same glitter polish on top done by my old manicurist . She was amazing I saw her for about 10 y before the pandemic and I do miss her !

I had gels done yesterday, I’ve gone for very deep red with a hint of glitter. I’ve got a funeral of a very elderly relative of DHs to go to today so I went for something discreet.
I always keep my nail short and I think they suit darker colours best.

I love seeing all the designs.

Pic doesn't do them justice, but these are mine - icy with a little bit of silver sparkle. Decided against my usual red for Christmas and they are lovely!

LOVE all the dark greens, one of my absolute favourite colours. Haven’t ever had it at Christmas though...Definitely going to be my colour next year - not doing any this year as I’ve just ruined my thumbnail by ripping right through it.🙄

Ooh those are nice! How long do acrylics last for? Do they damage your nails underneath at all?

Nails done just prior to having to take a COVID test so now these are isolation nails rather than Christmas nails 🙄 but I love them anyway 😄

I'm going to visit a master next week and make my nails beautiful! Sometimes I do it myself but for holidays I don't want

Sadly ran out of time, I normally get them done but I’ve got a gel kit and a uv dryer so if I’ve time will be doing them later

Nope, almost never get my fingernails painted as I pick my cuticles and paint just calls attention to it.

Some lovely ones here. I don’t understand how anyone manages to do anything with the long pointy styles but full credit to you!

When I get my nails painted they only last for 2 weeks, friends can last for 3-4 weeks, it just depends on your nails. I've booked my next appointment for 3 weeks time, there'll be some re growth and some nails may have pinged off 😂 I hope they don't cause damage to my nails!

Yes I always have an OPI pedicure every month anyway.

Plain green here to go with my green jumper. I have a new nail kit, my daughter did them for me.
