The mums at our school are v fond of the knobbly Balenziaga style trainers just now.

I would say Skechers. Most of them say 'I have given up on life' I get they are comfortable and are fine for work in busy on your feet environments.

I still love Converse, so I'll happily wear the mum trainer wearer moniker .

Yeah apparently even on a site predominantly for mums, we're putting mums down as unstylish and unfashionable. Honestly, I give up.

I have never heard of ‘mum boots’ are they like ‘dad jeans’ ? Do you mean trainers that are possibly more stylish stylish, less ugly stylish ???

@HeronLanyon here is a classic mumboot. They aren't a bad thing, they are just very utility and a bit fug. They're for jobs such as waiting for school chucking out time, driving the people carrier and visiting Asda.

Mum boots only exist on MN. In real life, people wear boots and are mums without that suddenly translating into them being mocked in the street for their taste in boots.

I'm a mum and have got about 15 pairs of boots. None of them look remotely like the one that @AngelicaElizaAndPeggy just posted. And even if they did, that would be my choice. Fuck off with your 'mum boots' sneering.
