Can’t see a thread so I thought I’d start one. Yes, it’s unbelievably early, but I noticed Glossybox have already revealed their Advent Calendar contents for this year. Saw this reveal on YouTube this morning:

Have to say it doesn’t wow me, but there’s plenty of time and many more Advent Calendars to come, I’m sure!

My ASOS ascent arrived today and I can't wait. I watched an unboxing and am really pleased with e contents and definitely think it's worth the £60 I paid.

How the hell can the Lush calendar be so expensive?! It's on a par with Molton Brown, which is much higher end than Lush.
I'd buy the Lush one if it was £90 for 25 days. Although yes, they went a bit odd with their political messaging.
I miss Cosmetics to Go. Even travelled to Poole to visit their shop there. It was amazing!

I'd love the Lush calendar , it's got some stuff in you can't buy separately, but agree it's too expensive. Didn't stop it selling out quickly last year though. I wish they'd do a 12 day / mini version.

Also puzzled re lush advent, they must have some pretty devoted followers….

Bugger it. I got FOMO and ordered it at the full price. It’s still a good saving for everything you get, and it can be a Christmas present to me from DH, not that he knows that yet!

Tbf I can see the appeal over lush over some of the standard beauty calendars as I think I'd use them and enjoy them more if I was having regular baths but it is just too expensive

They sold Lush calendars 50% off last January. I bought 12 day one. I might see if they have the same offer again after Xmas.

I am not sure if I am getting beauty advent calendar this year. I have loads of minis from previous years. If I am getting one it's going to be H&B one.

@Eaumyword (waves) yes CTG was miles better than Lush - I miss those Champagne Bath Bombs & tons of other things too.

Well hello @TracyBeakerSoYeah! 👋 Oh it was an Aladdin's cave and you did a tour of where they made everything, then shopped to your heart's content. Heaven! I LOVED getting the catalogue too!
The Fortnums calendar is off the charts fabulous. So much money but I really, really want it....

So I have just started my annual agonizing over which to get….

I have defected from Look Fantastic (which I’ve loved for many years) to Feel Unique. What did it was the Avant hand cream (50ml) priced at £92 in the LF calendar. They really think we’re fools!

For FU I was swayed by the GWP which looks really good - not very glamorous, but lots of nice French pharmacy type stuff. For anybody buying off the EU site, you can’t buy just the AC (even though it’s enough for the qualifying spend), you have to add in another item.

I will also get a luxury one but not sure what. I was going to go for CB but am irritated that there are 2 mascaras and a low value item from The Ordinary.

So I have the FU one.

I am going to try and get the space Nk one. If I don't get that I will try for the CB one. I woukd rather have the CB one but its coming out so late, if I wait I will miss all the best ones.

@Eaumyword if you have the money spare then treat yourself to the Fortnums calendar.

Anyone got an idea when the H&B calendar goes on sale? All I can find is “September”….

Last year H&B was 18th Sept @Ilikeviognier but haven't seen any confirmation for 2021 calendar yet!

I would like two this year abs really need to decide which I want my second one to be especially if H&B is going to be available soon...I was originally definitely going for H&B but rituals is tempting me now instead, and I like the look of next too!

I'm desperate for news of the Selfridges one. I got the Cult Beauty last year, Space the year before. Don't Harrods usually do one too?

I was hoping for Liberty this year as I have some gift vouchers but I don't think I'll bother having seen the contents.
