Had an annoying Toast delivery today. I ordered the graphic yoke sweater that I tried in store in the smaller size. I ordered both colours to choose one. The cinnamon colour doesn’t suit me, but the size was perfect. But the same size in the dark brown was so much bigger, and way too wide. I measured them against each other and there is about 4 inches difference in width and about 2 inches difference in the arm width. So annoying. Not sure if I should bother trying another order to see if I can get one that fits right though. Harrumph.

Very annoying. I bought the kantha jacket. One came and it was turquoise. I dislike turquoise. No idea why. It had a lovely print but couldn't come to terms with the colour. So ordered another. So much nicer. More of a navy ikat with a funky faded red print on the inside. It is also a lot more relaxed than the first despite them both being a medium.

Why can't they just post pictures of the actual kantha jacket? Its very annoying. Indigowares do. I have one of theirs too.

Totally agree about the Kanthas. I have long wanted one but can’t be bothered risking it not being a colour I would like.

I have gone ahead and just ordered two more sweaters in size s. So annoying to have to do that but there was none in my local store and I would really like to have it, so I will cross my fingers that one of them works.

about the kanthas ... if you go on the live chat thing and tell them which vague colour and size you want, they will email you a picture of all the kanthas that match your requirements in their warehouse - then you can choose the exact one you get. I had to do this once and it worked eventually!

I did. They did nothing. I think those times are gone @faustina She just said to return it.

I think with this new shopify, they have no control over the warehouse. It says you cannot return in person to the warehouse.

I really wanted the blue one on the website. I knew i wouldn't get it though. I love the green one too but I felt I would end up with yellows which dont go with my wardrobe.

I found a pic of the crinkle dress if anyone is interested?
It does look very loose and oversized.
I like this style but fear it would swamp me

@neveradullmoment99 - you can't even specify a general colour anymore? That's ridiculous! I got the photos sent only a few months ago - it took a few goes but I did get them eventually

Ok so I have requested them to do this with the chat. They said they can't get back to me until the bank holiday is over but still good. Now I have a kantha sitting there and one on its way back. I can't afford to order another one. Need to have the refund of one of them!

The lady was absolutely useless last time. Better this time. I said a 'friend' had photos sent ha ha....It worked!

I really cannot understand why they cannot post individual photos to select from. Lucky dip at £215 does not cut it.

@neveradullmoment99 I tried putting the skirt over my head. It worked!!! so might be stretchy enough.

Today I am wearing my old Japanese linen trousers ( see how creased!).. And orange striped Emma tee .. two of my favourite ever Toast purchases.
... Thought that it might be good if we posted how we all wear our ' everyday' Toast?
(Rather than just our new buys?) I love to see how people style the pieces we have and lets face it, we all have rather a lot of Toast!!🤣

The Alix striped linen trousers in S arrived and hooray they fit!!
I have ordered the lichen boat neck tee also as I think that would look fab with them ...
I like them with last summer's linen kaftan top

I have those trousers as well, laska, and love them - the linen has aged beautifully. I’d love to see just general toast or toast-esque outfits as well. I did do it for a few days last month but felt a bit like I was spamming ‘look at me’ and stopped - but if others were doing it too, I’d love to see and participate.

Its a fab way to keep the thread going!

First one is gorgeous, never. I love it.

I had a kantha jacket about 40 years ago. I have no idea why I got rid of it - I think once I moved into grey suits and shoulder pads I thought it was unsuitable. I still think of it longingly sometimes. Mine was pinks and creams.
