Lovely jumper and cardi - agree re: the non Summer, would prefer to just get on with Autumn now. Planning to treat myself to some of the Falke merino tights this year, maximum cosiness.

I always like my jumpers unfitted so am probably not the best person to ask - but I think it looks very flattering on you - I'd hate to wear a tight high necked jumper

@Saurus72 I tried the micro check dress on in the Richmond store the other day. I loved the fabric but it is very over sized and not sure it did much for me. I thought it would be nice worn as a light coat over trousers.

Has anyone got or tried the Crinkled Cotton Check Dress (Ink Blue/Bluette)?

I'm wondering what it would be like on an hourglass. Annoying not having any pics of it on a person nor any reviews.

I keep deciding not to order it and then seeing it again and thinking just right colours on me...

I have the dress and the culottes in the blue crinkle check plus last years crinkle dress Im a tall hourglass and its just right, loose but not baggy. The fabric is beautiful and cosy without being too heavy. Im a 12 in real life and swing between a 10/12 in Toast and the medium is perfect.

@MrsCat1 yes, you’re not the first person to say it isn’t too flattering. Is it one of those styles that looks too big no matter how much you size down? I think it may be an itch I need to scratch and try it on for myself!

I think it depends on your body type. I just don't look good in oversized things. I did size down but the waist was very big, and being a broad shouldered hourglass I look better in things that have a waist. But I did like it in many ways and would have bought it if I had a different body type!

Annoyed. The denim Elena arrived and it fits nicely everywhere except under the armpits which are just too tight, and since its obviously a shirt that you'd wear a tee or thin woolen top under ( being heavy denim and loose tunic shape split from high waist at sides ) I really dont know why they do this ..

I am wide shouldered and have generous norkage but have compared it with other similar Toast shirts ( in 12 and 10 ) which I have and its definitely cut small there .. but I love it as a shape ..So I am going to have another go at the 14.. (but I did think that was too big previously)

I k ow Laska, given the toast aesthetic is pretty oversized, an awful lot of their clothes are tight somewhere. I tried that micro check dress as well but decided the dolmen sleeves would annoy me as I tried a coat over the top and just couldn’t get it comfy. Plus something weirds me out about feeling bare arms against a bare side. Which is odd, I know…

Cherries Gansey looks good , especially good for vanning /walking .. I have eleventy billion jumpers but otherwise would have gone for it myself

I looked this morning on JL, but even with their generous discount there was nothing to tempt me. @faustina did you get anything?

@AFingerofFudge I re-ordered two sizes of the boiled wool navy cardigan to try since it had come down to a more realistic price, and then some things from Kin which has also got lots of new reductions - a red dress which was already in my basket, and a black kimono top

I really love the dark olive dress, and the jerkin is lovely but probably too short for me - think I'd probably be forever pulling it down!

@faustina, I have that boiled wool cardigan and it is one of my favourite Toast pieces ever! I’m wearing it right now. I don’t know why it didn’t get more love.
I sized up from my normal Toast jumper size and felt that looked more in proportion. Because the sleeves are big, I felt the body needed to be a bit bigger too.
Anyway, I hope one of the sizes works for you.
