Oops didn't mean to press post that quickly! Sorry about the very dirty mirror, but hopefully you get the idea. I got the size 14, and that was a good shout. I'm normally a 12 or sometimes 14 but I do have a 36 DD bust and that can be a problem in some Toast dresses and so looking at the styling video that they did I made a calculated guess that I'd need to size up and I was right. It's not too loose anywhere else either. I tried it with the belt but was a bit meh about it. I don't think it really added anything to it.

I ordered the sale shirt dress in the neutral colour that is the same shape. Hoping it fits! My last sale purchase!

I agree about the belt. Its not needed.

My Aster Floral Dress has arrived and it is absolutely perfect!

Enjoying hearing about all of your lovely purchases. The Fan Print dress arrived this am: size 10 and pulls just a tiny bit at the button by the bust. I put the 12 in my basket earlier but returned to find that the sale has ended so called them to see if i could swap for a 12 and was told no, the sale has finished and there is none available - this despite the fact they were available in every size this morning....I might add a pop stud between buttons to address the problem as it fits everywhere else.

In better news, I had been stalking the Lattice Print Poplin dress in a 12 on the Toast site, literally refreshing the page every time I passed the computer in case a return came in. My luck paid off yesterday around 5pm when a 10 appeared so have bought it with express delivery for tomorrow. I have the 10 (which will go back) which is again, just a tiny bit tight on the bust. I had tried the 12 on in the Marylebone branch which felt big so hoping it won't be too big.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout - if you go to the Beton cire website, they have the hats in bigger sizes (not sure if they have the lovely Toast colour though)

@Laska2Meryls fingers crossed for the event. I'm also wary of tube travel but both locations are relatively easy to access for me from mainline stations so not too bad. It would be lovely if we both got picked!

I ordered a couple of last minute sale things yesterday - the blue striped t-shirt and the navy linen one - and then I also ordered the Alix indigo twill trousers - eye watering price but possibly worth it if they will span the seasons

Keeping the shirt though, I’ve played about with it and I really like it now.

Yes who knows? But sometimes I think these things do go to 'insiders' but wouldn't it be fun if they did pick us ...

How did the culotte trousers fit around the waist *@AmethystMoonShine*? I love them! I ordered the window pane shirt today which i love the look of. It came back in stock in a medium.

Not sure if it will fit as it is a 12 that I have ordered rather than a 10.

I ordered the twill dress, but sent it back. It was very yellow for stone, colour just didn’t work for me. But also the waist was very high then the skirt stuck out. I think I was just the wrong shape for it.

Aster dress is beautiful, Fudge. Really suits you. I have the vibe prone which I think may be the same, and I really like it, though as mentioned above the plain one in twill just didn’t work for me.

Thank you all for your comments! Yes I'm definitely keeping it. And, in a complete departure from what I used to do (keep things for best and then hardly use them) I am going to wear it tomorrow!!
@AuldFox I'm not sure if it's the same cut as the Vine dress but having looked at the pictures it could well be!

I had a final buy a long sleeved t shirt in a colour I fancied, my size(hopefully my size) popped up in sale.

I hope you all get to the event, too far for me. Quite fancy staying in Batty Langreys . It looks fabulous. It’s near Denis Severs house too for a visit there. And Spitalfields market . And there’s a minute Toast shop near Boxpark. Wish I was there.

I emailed and asked why there has been no reviews on the Toast website for the last eighteen months and they replied with:

"Due to a 'technical glitch' the reviews currently are not showing, but please be rest assured that as soon as it is resolved, they will be back, as we know how much our valued customers, such as yourself, find them helpful".

I am not sure about them not showing, I haven't had one invitation to leave a review in the last six months.

What a shame. They used to be so great at sending you stuff after the sale was over just through their online chat. All you need to do was phone in and they would order it for you. Really another sign of their poor CS.

JL has still got some Toast sale, including Ashley Long Crop in Indigo, which I don’t think were there before - not in my size luckily .

@Theteapotsbrokenspout, they did have the Ashley before but at £87.50 as I bought them on 29 June and love them. Many thanks for the alert though as I will now ask them to price match to the £62.50 they are now!

I got marketing email today from Toast ''Comfort at Home'. At the bottom theteis a link to their Instagram page 'Rewilding, a competition'.. I am not on Instagram but you can see partial comments as a non subscriber.. and this new link seems to already have complaint comments about Toast!

So I think that the lack of review opportunities on their main website is deliberate ..

In this hot weather, I have been living in Toast dhuggies around the house and garden) especially last years spot one with short sleeves ... have just ordered the Lotus Flower nightdress.. )
The ladt couple of days when out I have worn my old Toast U neck shift linen dresses and tops and love the simplicity of them still.. They dont seem to be doing those classic pieces recently... ( And certainly not for the price I paid)

A friend and I were chatting about clothes brands the other day, and lamenting how Toast is not living up to standards with its customer service lately.
She told me of a brand that had been recommended to her - Folk Clothing. Having a browse and they have some nice looking things. But I never know how to deal with sizing in new brands. I only ever really shop at Toast (and on eBay for Toast), and have kind of got a handle on sizes. But I am completely unsure what size I am in “real life”. And to confuse things even more, Folk do a 0/1/2/3/4 sizing. Has anyone ordered from them who can give me an idea about sizing?

I've just checked and the refund came through on Wednesday so that's all cleared up now, which is a relief. My nearest shop is Edinburgh, and that's not very near at all but doable for a (long) day trip. I can imagine a very pleasant day combining a visit to an art gallery, a nice lunch and a trying on sesh at Toast. It's just not going to happen very often, which is a bugger.

I was looking for a housewarming gift and found a shop called Midgley Green which has items from some of the makers seen on Toast. Mostly out of stock, but somewhere I'll be keeping an eye on.

What I think of as my Toast 'space invader' trousers from last year have been great in this heat. The indigo / grey ones.

In fairness I had to return something to JL .
They didnt have the Aster dress in yet.
I tried on the Black Ashley Crop Jeans and the size 10 fitted me really well.
I was put off these but they arent ankle length on me ( are they heck!) But 3/4 length and will be extremely useful.
