I've recently started working again after a few years being a SAHM. The idea of earning some money again is beyond exciting. I sometimes see threads on here where people talk about their favourite purchases and I covet stuff but haven't ever been able to partake in spending. So could we start a new thread? Any brilliant new clothes, beauty products or even household stuff - what's been your best purchase over recent months?!

No more wobbling around in heeled ankle boots with sore feet.

I forgot to say - hotel chocolat velvetizer & a waffle maker were big hits with teen dc during lockdown too - we could have restaurant quality pizza/ waffles / hot chocolate & it gave us all such a lift

Mine has been 2 things both expensive but very very much worth their weight in gold. P50 toner which had completely transformed my face and removed wrinkles and the foreo bear which has removed my nl folds, smoothed out and plumped my upper lip, given me amazing cheek bones, lifted my saggy neck and eyebrows.

Where did you buy p50 from? I really want to try it but it's not easy to find.

Gladiator sandals from Next, I live in trainers but these are just as comfy.

Clothes steamer from Amazon, it's brilliant. I never had time to iron things and now use this in seconds before work. Wish I'd got a cordless one though

@Naaaaah I’m pretty sure it was ‘ embassy of beauty’ you do have to set up an account and fill in a silly questionnaire. They wanted me to start on the ‘weakest’ product but I have skin like a rhino so I emailed them and they send me the normal one. They were very good to deal with.

Frayed denim shorts. Pretty short ... One pair in denim blue and one in black.

I know it doesn't sound an amazing purchase - but this is a big deal for me. I've lost some weight recently and bought these online thinking i'd be sending them straight back - but - well they're comfy and my legs have tanned wearing them and amazingly they actually look good! I'm chuffed :)

Never seen an air fryer discussed in S&B before

It sounds really 90s, but I love lip liner. It stops my lipstick from bleeding and makes it look more precise. I have three and they works with all of my lipstick colours - all Estée Lauder: nude, rose and spice. All really soft but last for ages.

L'Oreal Professional repair shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks so much better. I had tried olaplex but it did nothing for me.

A £4.99 sieve from the middle of Lidl that is rectangular with extending handles so you fit it on the sink. Game changer! No more struggling with a sieve and a heavy pan or sieve falling over.
