Nude tights still a no-no?

I'm assuming yes and I hate the thought, but I'm struggling to find a leg covering to go with spring dresses, boots/trainers that isn't heavy opaques.

Do I just give up and go with the opaques?

Another fan of nude fishnets. If the mesh is small they give good coverage and I have had lots of compliments.

I swear by them - never knew they were a fashion faux pas! They make my pasty, slightly dumpy legs look infinitely better

I have no problem with the principle of nude tights, although personally I prefer nude fishnets; a bit more interesting.

Always a no in my eyes nude tights are a crime!

A crime? Wow. They even out your skin tone and make shoes more comfortable to wear. I like light support ones. Shoot me now.

I'm very pale with lots of pigmentation issues on my legs, as well as scars and a I bruise like a peach. It's taken me years to be confident enough to go out without nude tights on but if it is still a bit chilly I'll wear some. Just do what works for you!

In my old job we weren't allowed bare legs so had to wear black or nude tights. When I was pregnant in the summer I bought some quite expensive nude maternity tights but they were horribly the wrong colour but I couldn't care less.

I’m in a bit of a panic here. The tights police are banging on the door. Will l get away with it? 😂

I’m wearing Autograph Seam Free, they are like a fine knitted tube. Good quality, with a “proper” cotton gusset; hence knickers optional, but they stop in place better without. The colour is now called Rose but l think it is only the colour name which has changed. Should l plead guilty or not guilty? 🤔

I'm basically blue and Aristoc nude were my go-to when I worked in an office. I quite like a nude fishnet now..plus they last longer.

Another one here who loves nude fishnets. However, at the moment I am wearing nude sheer tights which are my day time go to tights. I hate my legs so it has to be very warm to go without.

Question for the nude micronet wearers- will they disguise unshaven yeti legs or will I look like a wild animal ensnared in a hunter's trap?

Definitely out for me, well, at least until next week when I have my first leg wax since last October ...

Well, it depends of the level of yetiness. The odd longer hair or lots of very short ones would be fine. All over fur isn't going to work. They provide a blurring effect (good for veins, bruises, patchy tan) - but if anyone gets v close they disguise nowt. Not that anyone should be that close at work on the whole.

A further question for nude micronet fans: any particular favoured brand? Aristoc are my go-to but I will splash out on Wolford for the right item.

I must have missed this memo too. I wear nude/natural tights because apart from the very odd days when it's sweltering hot I'm too cold if I go bare legged, especially at work.

Just don’t wear them with open toed shoes.
I find it’s very rarely warm enough in the evenings in the UK to have bare legs, and nude tights look significant better than mottled legs covered in goosebumps that then leave stubble behind.
One thing that I’ve found works quite well is long john style knickers- if your legs and belly are warm it helps a lot. You need to allow for your skirt to ride or waft up though, so no use with knee length or shorter.

I like the nude fishnets which have a vintage look to me. - I would wear them with a pencil skirt. If I was wearing a midi skirt I would wear footless tights underneath so they were not seen ( chop the legs off a pair of tights ). When it’s a shade warmer I would use leg make-up - although I would like to explore beyond Sally Hansen. No to nude tights otherwise.

I just wear nude tights 🤷‍♀️ I’m in northern Scotland and it rarely feels warm enough for totally bare legs. I hate the look of blue shivery legs (mine, I’m not bothered what other people do!) I got mine from snag, their tights aren’t cheap, but I love the quality.

I think nude tights can be amazing if you get the right shade. For example, I have very good shapely legs, but they are very pasty looking and never, ever tan. So for me, nudes are the only way I can show off my legs, just looks like I’ve got a lovely light tan and covers any little broken veins, scars etc.

If I was actually leaving the house to go to work, or for a night out that involved a nice dress and being outside for any length of time, I would wear them.

Unfortunately I’m currently welded to my leggings.

Before the Pandemic I wore the Primark 7 denier oiled tights, if I needed to. They actually just look like your legs but better!

As to whether they are in or out I have no idea!
