Considering the check tank @ilovecherries
What size did you go for? I am not sure whether small or medium. Want to avoid gape around the armholes.

ilovecherries · 05/07/2021 15:30

I got medium, never, so I think you could def go to small.

ilovecherries · 05/07/2021 15:31

Even I could probably go to small, just don’t think boobs would fit in.

neveradullmoment99 · 05/07/2021 17:10

Thanks @ilovecherries although just now, think the medium might be better as the linen tank [the plain one] cut under my arms. Just don't want it gaping at that point.

neveradullmoment99 · 05/07/2021 17:53

I am a 34E atm.

neveradullmoment99 · 05/07/2021 17:53

I think usually about a 32 but I cannot bare a tight band.

ilovecherries · 05/07/2021 19:15

I’m a 32FF. After a day of wear, the linen was really quite loose on me in the medium. And it’s slightly A line. You CAN see the top of my bra at the side under the arm. I just decided I didn’t care, it’s not a formal top.

AuldFox · 05/07/2021 21:45

Who wanted a Pihu dress? There’s a size 14 on sale in JL.

savvy7 · 06/07/2021 08:57

Hi, I am new to Toast and have recently returned 2 out of 3 items from an order. I today received a notification that 1 item had been refunded. Is this normal for Toast to issue partial refunds - normally retailers refund all the items returned in the same transaction?

ScottishMouse · 06/07/2021 09:27

@savvy7, unfortunately I have had this problem twice recently with Toast. They changed over systems not that long ago and it seems to have caused all sorts of problems. I would call them or try to get on their online chat to sort it out. Good luck!

savvy7 · 06/07/2021 11:01

Thanks ScottishMouse - I will do that

ScottishMouse · 06/07/2021 13:32

Well, in contrast to the parcels arriving and days later the dispatch emails, I had a dispatch email on Friday but Royal Mail tracking says they haven’t yet received the parcel. Boo, I was hoping it would arrive today. I am not a patient person!

This has happened to me 3 times. It usually takes a day or so and then you parcel comes :)
dudsville · 06/07/2021 17:39

I ordered the pihu dress in a 14 and a 12 from the sale on JL. Sadly they're both going back. I would love it to be more fitted, and the dress is pretty so I'm considering paying full price for a size 10.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/07/2021 18:14

Well there is 50% off on the Toast sale on certain items but tbh, its a struggle to find what has been reduced.
I did order the beautiful check shirt dress [ similar to the burgundy one] The Echo check cotton shirt dress in a size 8. It was on the spring fashion talk thing and she was wearing it in the size saying it was generous so thought it was a similar style. I am not a 8, I am a 12-14!

neveradullmoment99 · 06/07/2021 18:15

So have ordered the check linen tank in lime and black. The shirt dress mentioned above and a couple of linen tees.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/07/2021 18:15

All separate orders which is probably best!

ScottishMouse · 06/07/2021 18:34

Anyone after a Pihu skirt? I’ve just spied one on eBay. Size 12. It’s probably one of you selling it! 😆

AFingerofFudge · 06/07/2021 18:39

@ScottishMouse I was just coming on to say the same! I think it was @Laska2Meryls that was looking for one? This one is size 12 £69.99 buy it now- new. (Not me selling it!)

How annoying, a skirt I bought and have washed and worn is £20 cheaper. Grrr.
neveradullmoment99 · 06/07/2021 19:28

Very very annoying @dudsville
I am the same though. Bought quite a few pieces from Jl and quite a few have been reduced.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/07/2021 19:29

If you boutht it from Jl and its cheaper and within 28 days you can claim back the extra you paid for it using their price promise. Always worth remembering. I did this. Got at least two things cheaper.

dudsville · 06/07/2021 20:01

Thanks, the skirt was from Toast though. I do love it, it's just annoying to see further markdowns.

TheChattyRat · 06/07/2021 20:44

Has anyone got or tried the fan print dress? Am tempted now it is more reduced. I saw it in JL and it is a weighty crepe viscose. I do worry about shrinkage though. Any thoughts welcome.
Also bought the indigo belted shirt dress, unsure about this one. I quite like the shape and the fact it can be layered but it is quite stiff fabric. Wonder if it would soften up with washing?
Some good discounts on the jumpers too.

Ooh sadly I am think that it would be too small in the waist for meSad.. I am still hoping that Toast reduce it! I have a couple of new sale bits arrived.. but have just got home from camping holiday.. I'll try them tomorrow and report back
