Hello again Toasties !!
Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !!

Just returned my item to store even though I used PayPal. They are linked up to the online system so they just take it back, put it through the system and you get refunded automatically, no card required, and no worries if PayPal. Will report back when it actually all goes through ok, because I have left with no receipt and no jacket!! Seems risky.

Where do you put your keys? I have small bags but always struggle with car and house keys.

@neveradullmoment99, yes, this is a problem. I try to bring as few keys as possible with me. So one for the front door and one for the car if I am not walking. And I just stick them in a pocket in my jacket/trousers/dress. Realised yesterday that I always wear things with pockets when I was about to go out in a dress with none (the horror!). Had to change before I went anywhere!

🤣🤣🤣🤣I've also change my cardi if no pockets.
If I were to make my keys smaller o know I would lose them.
Love my small bags though.

Have they stopped? I alway pay by PayPal and both JL and M&S refund instantly in store via PayPal (but I haven’t been in a JL store since pre pandemic). M&S still doing it though.

I’m wearing the black and lime checked linen vest with tapered black linen trousers. Someone on the campsite said ‘oh, Toast top?’ And we had a happy chat about best Toast purchases. She’s never heard of MN either!!

We have had terrible rain today. Thunderstorms and hail!!! Never seen it rain SO hard.

You can definitely return two things from the same order but not at the same time - I've just done it

Has anyone got the placed checked shirt (not the dress). Am undecided about it. It’s fixed at the top of the wrap, where I’d quite like it open/adjustable, but there is no way of fastening the flap at the bottom. Just wondering if a gust of wind will have me flashing my torso, which no one needs to see.

Sorry @faustina, I never thought to! I reckon the new stock will be online soon though. There is another IGTV styling video coming on Friday, so maybe they will update online around then. I will take photos if I find myself wandering into Toast again this week, but that’s unlikely as schools are already off here and I have two small people to entertain every day!

If they have new stock, I’m definitely going in store to return and nose around the new stuff

@AuldFox, it was a sale item I returned. And one from an order that I had already done a postal return for. It was very straightforward.

I have the Felix Indigo Denim Trousers, which are fantastic, but I am still slightly too plump at the top of them. My teenager says they're fine, but I think they look too tight. They're one of the models with small waist.

And I have the Cotton Twill Side Button Trousers, which on the other hand are approaching too large, but utterly fabulous.

@iguanadonna, the cotton twill side button trousers arrived in a 10 and are fab, could have been made for me. Thank you for the sizing advice.

I also got the Toquilla Straw Bag: I had seen it in store and loved it. It is quite small and very delicate so ridiculously priced but i couldn't resist and it will look lovely for the rest of the summer with some of my Toast dresses.

I've just made myself laugh out loud by trying on the cotton linen tapered trousers which arrived today. I'm an apple shaped size 16, so thought they'd fit nicely with their elasticated waist. And, yes, they do fit, but the sheer volume of fabric in the legs, especially when looking at myself sideways on, is hysterical. So, they're going back, as is the cotton oxford dress, which is voluminous and does me no favours - it might look better a size smaller, but I can live without it. However, the fine stripe cotton shirt dress looks great and is incredibly wearable. I already have two blue shirt-dresses (one from Toast), but I've persuaded myself it is very different from both of them.

Has anyone got or tried the Mul Mul knotted shirt? I am a small bit tempted at sale price (still quite £££), but the reviews are mixed.

Update on the Maeva wrap, it's beautiful! A little big for an 8 (already sized down) but it's loose and floaty and gorgeous. Will try to get a pic.
