Hello again Toasties !!
Here we are again ..Spring has definitely sprung.. and here we are leaving lockdown again (hopefully for the last time) and with any luck planning some social opportunities to wear our lovely stuff actually out somewhere !!

Checking in too. The first of the two refunds I am waiting for (put through on thurs) has appeared in my account, so hopefully the second one will too. Just in case anyone was worried about refunds actually arriving.

Re my own return that they've had for ages now and not acknowledged, after reading this thread I've written to them (a second time) asking for an update as "I've heard on various social media that you aren't processing returns". They need to know folks are talking and I don't do twitter.

I have just had an online retail experience so unlike my recent Toast ones, that I thought I would share (in the hopes that someone from Toast is reading!!). I ordered three things from Anthropologie on Thursday. On Friday I received a message to say one was delayed, and would follow this week, the other two on their way. Royal Mail delivered the two items today. They had no invoice inside, and do their returns like Toast do now - go online, fill in a form, get a label to print or a qr code for the post office. That was quick and easy, and at the same time, I could click one button to cancel the item that hadn’t arrived as I decided I didn’t want it. So simple! Obviously I haven’t been refunded yet, but so far, very efficient and simple. If only everywhere online was like that.

I sent some sandals back ages ago. No answer to my emails at all and the phone line just keeps you on hold forever. I had a response from a facebook message I sent them today saying they promise to look into things for me. We will see. They are very expensive items to not have a quick and straightforward returns process, it's disappointing.

I will certainly not be ordering anything from Toast again until they sort the situation out.

There are a few new Toast items added to the John Lewis website I noticed this afternoon....

I think you're allowed @ScottishMouse - I too have my eye on that gingham dress!

Agree it’s far too expensive to not receive a prompt refund - particularly as sizing is so difficult to guess online. I don’t use a credit card for shopping so I really don’t want hundreds of pounds out of my account with no idea when it will be refunded. Am hoping that if I can go to Cambridge, try things on in the Toast shop as well as JL I will be able to order with no risk at sale time 😎

That gingham dress is really pretty - a bit like a school uniform dress in a way!

I wish John Lewis had got the Talia dress in green. I like the newly listed skirt. What colour do we think it is in real life?

@Countmeout the skirt looks beautiful but like always there is no detail about length. I think it is a pinky red. I also really think the jumpsuit looks beautiful too but again, limited pictures and description. Its really off putting.

Also find that Toast skirts can be neat on the waist. I have the tiered long skirt in a kind of silky dark mustard. It is beautiful. Its got an elasticated waist and its so comfy. Wish that one did too.

I placed an order with Toast on Thurs afternoon, got a despatch email Friday morning & it was delivered today. So far so good, hoping they've worked through their backlog now. I do need to return something (circular top - looks ludicrous on my short fat neck) so will start the returns countdown tomorrow...

I’m still waiting for one refund and one delivery . No response to my emails . Nearly 3 weeks now.....I have absolutely no idea what is going on
