There's nothing wrong with your figure

jellybe · 06/03/2021 15:55

You look like you probably have a much smaller waist hidden under your dress. And that your proportions are probably fairly hourglass but can't really tell as that dress isn't doing a lot for you (sorry) have you measured your boobs, waist and hips? I think if you look at your ratios it might help you start to work out your shape.

XiCi · 06/03/2021 16:00

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your figure that a well fitted bra wouldn't fix. What on earth are you wearing though??!!!

ShrikeAttack · 06/03/2021 16:26

You've posted before haven't you OP? You were trying on loads of dresses, I recognise your mouth (and your slightly disheveled house).

I seem to remember you found some decent dresses last time.

Anyway, decent bra, and don't get people to take photos of you from above!

pinkandblueflowers · 06/03/2021 16:32

Thanks everyone

I don't drink to whoever asked
Any suggestions where to get my boobs measured for a decent bra?

What's wrong with the tights? I admit I should look into some wedge shoes

A few ppl have mentioned a different pic would help so here's one I took yesterday

The tights/leggings are not a colour I would choose for myself. Black ones would help.

Tomiee · 06/03/2021 16:42

There's nothing wrong with your figure! I think you could do with working on your self confidence and maybe looking into new styles you'd like to try out Smile easier said than done, I know! x

pinkandblueflowers · 06/03/2021 16:48

@Pulledamonica they are tights I actually really love them but I admit not with trainers

Any ideas on a style of wedges? I like to shop for shoes in next

What the bleeding hell is this thread.

Why would you stand on your untidy bed in a room full of clutter to pose for a picture?

pinkandblueflowers · 06/03/2021 16:54

Does it really matter where the photo is taken or what's in the background? No I don't think so

OP posts:
sabrinathemiddleagewitch · 06/03/2021 16:55

Bra Intervention needed. You are 1000% wearing the wrong size in the first pic.
Once things open get fitted at a proper bra shop, and bin all your old bras.

pinkandblueflowers · 06/03/2021 16:56

@sabrinathemiddleagewitch any suggestions as to what shop?

OP posts:
Dayafterday · 06/03/2021 17:01

The first dress wouldn’t flatter anyone.

Cant tell with the second as you can’t stand properly on a bed. Why don’t you photograph yourself standing on the floor with shoes on?

mynameiscalypso · 06/03/2021 17:02

You don't need a shop - try the boob or bust method.

Plumedenom · 06/03/2021 17:05

You've got great, slim legs. I'd bet you'd look great in jeans and a nice casual v neck jumper with a pair of heeled ankle boots. I know long length dresses and tops make you feel "safe" but because you have big boobs, you are making the whole front of yourself look bigger than you are. Jeans and a half open shirt would look nice too.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 06/03/2021 17:06

This thread is making me laugh, your first picture is taken with the most unflattering clothes so that nobody can actually see what's really there and the second you are trying to balance on a bed Grin

pinkandblueflowers · 06/03/2021 17:07

Hi thanks for the method recommended I will do that

My problem is I haven't worn jeans in over a year and I LOVE jeans. This is because my belly is too fat so then I can never find a top I feel comfortable with to go over them and I end up feeling cramped and fat and a big belly bit on my jeans that I'm trying to cover over so need long tops which isn't always what i want to wear in nice weather

OP posts:
pinkandblueflowers · 06/03/2021 17:08

So it's easier to just wear dresses

OP posts:
Fcuk38 · 06/03/2021 17:10

Your clothes are unflattering. The first photo you look like you’d like to be part of the popsy (dresses) army if you are not already.
Dresses that drown the figure and bit complimentary at all. Find more flattering clothes and show off what you have.

glitterelf · 06/03/2021 17:11

You need to hoink those bad boys up with a decent fitted bra. As for jeans get some nice high waisted jeans as this will stop the overhang. Next have some pretty decent jeans and I say that as a Levi's lover.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/03/2021 17:11

Try posting a pic with a proper bra on, standing on the floor wearing shoes and minus the terrible pink tights. I'm sure you'd then think you look much better!

Unmellowbirds · 06/03/2021 17:12

OP, once they reopen, try Bravissimo for a bra. I went the first time when DC1 was around 13 months and I'd stopped BF and my bras were like hammocks! Made the most amazing difference. I went after each DC and am planning another visit post-lockdown.

Fcuk38 · 06/03/2021 17:12

I agree dresses are more easy to wear I only ever wear dresses. But just because you feel
You have a belly issue, you can still wear more figure hugging dresses. Try more pencil dresses- some are kind of gathered at the side to create shape over the belly. What this effectively does is “hide” the belly.

Applesarenice · 06/03/2021 17:14

M&S bra fitting
