Carrying on the great tradition of this thread - where those that are addicted to beauty products come together and support one another!

@Experiment627 just went through my car, handbags, bedside table, bathroom, kitchen and under the bed. I have two berries, two grapefruits, one grapefruit combined with lime & apple (that works surprisingly well!) and a vanilla GWP that I would never have chosen as I loathe vanilla everything. I have swapped the vanilla for my DD’s mini lemon one. It’s lovely, but sweeter and subtler than the grapefruit, so I’m glad I didn’t pay for it. (Has a bit of an aspirin scent about it too, but the vanilla things always smell like dollar store candles to me, so it’s still miles ahead.)

Am going to do an inventory once organised too. Having started, it’s a horrifying prospect. I can tell this just looking at lip balms alone! (I am yet to discover anything I love with SPF, so have a graveyard of Lanolips and Carmex about to go to DDs. (Although LL has recently released a gold-bronze that looks right up my alley….)

I used the Laniege last night as agreed - so far so good

I usually have 4 lip balms on the go - bathroom, living room, handbag, office. Now 5 with bedroom added.

@Experiment627 I have always loathed the feeling of dry lips. (It’s a thing for me.) I have a bajillion lipsticks I rarely wear because I prefer balms. Meanwhile, my lips are nice and plump and barely show any wear and tear…. (Unjabbed of course. I’ve watched lip injections with the same horrified fascination as car accidents or scary movies. They look soooooo violent!!!)

LOL! I too have a plethora of lipsticks that rarely get an outing due to wanting a balm on instead!!! I have never taken to lip gloss either.
I hate the look of injected lips - Despite thinning lips I would never consider an 💉

I love wearing lipstick, but don’t want to waste it stuck behind a mask.

Joules, body butter. Not quite empty but I went to use it tonight, after forgetting about it for ages, and it’s gone a bit … funny. Not off, as such, but definitely not right. To be fair, it is a few years old.

@Experiment627 I decided to “declutter” by combining the remnants of two grapefruits and two berries. I now have two very full lip masks and the lime/apple/grapefruit Frankenmask is next to my bed to change it up.
I am also not a fan of duck lips. Reminds me of this lovely, but rather ditzy girl I used to work with in the early 2000’s. It was an industry where (unfortunately) looks very much mattered, and this girl was probably about ten years younger than me and utterly stunning in a tall, fine-boned Audrey Hepburn way. Glossy, dark hair, doe eyes, eyelashes like tarantula legs, the works…. She was obsessed with everyone’s lips and every time she saw me, asked for the name of my doctor because they “looked so natural.” When I told her they WERE actually natural, she kept poking them looking for lumps of filler before she’d remember that we’d had this conversation. (I was never anywhere near Angelina Jolie or Rosie Huntington-Whitely’s pillowy standards, btw.) It became so weird that I used to put my hand in front of my mouth and just say, “Stop! We’ve had this conversation! They’re natural!!!” *Pretty sure time must have taken it’s toll a bit since then as there’s a vast difference between 29 and 49!!! (Rambling on, but I had forgotten about her until just now!)

I’d say insecure. It was partly the industry and partly the dodgy, older boyfriend.

Empties this week:

• Skin&Me + Biossance lactic acid serum Really really sad on decluttering Skin&Me, its transformed my skin, the tret doesnt agree with my skin, and its kick started eczema all over my face. So, its the end of the journey for me☹ Biossance also decluttering, again it didnt agree with my skin.

• Garnier moisture bomb mask 111skin are a prefered sheet mask, but Garnier are cheap and do the trick. Just throw on my face get a boost of hydration and off i go. Really good for the price. Ill RP these.

• REN Glycol lactic mask I loved DE Baby facial, a total reset on your skin. But, this a good dupe, similar results. Face looks smooth, clear and brighter. It can leave the skin looking a little red, but slather on moisturiser, your good. I have another mini in stash.

• Garnier spf fluid Its my HG. Ill never use another facial spf. Im not willing to pay big money for a SPF, it does the job and doesnt play havoc with my skin or eyes!

• NUXE Reve De Miel honey lip balm I adore this stuff!! The pot has lasted months. Ive not had a dry flaky lip with this at all, a little bit will last you all day and i dont feel the need to reapply constantly. The thick balm, isnt to heavy on the lip either.

• Sportfx dry shampoo Dry shampoo is a product i find im so fussy with. So its no suprise, i found this crap. My hair looked awful, just a big no for me!

I have over 700 sheet masks. Is that classed as hoarding?😂🤣😂🤣
