Anyone using either of these? How have you found the products?

And have you seen the promised results?

I use Dermatica. I’m a long term user of Isotretinoin and their product is the same as the one prescribed by a private dermatologist. My skin is in very good condition which I put down to use of tret and spf50. Are you looking to treat ageing or skin problems?

PerditaMacleod · 31/01/2021 19:59

I also use tretinoin from Dermatica. I haven't been on it very long but good so far. I started off on adapalene last April which cleared the persistent acne that I've had on and off since I was 12 - I'm 37 now. Just had TOTM without a break out - I think that's the first time it's ever happened.

Throughhistory · 31/01/2021 20:00

I don't use either, but buy it directly from here: www.farmaciaenandorra.com/shop/retirides-01-30g

Not sure if anything has changed post Brexit with delivery.

Junobug · 31/01/2021 20:04

I've been using Dermica for about 2 weeks for mild acne. My skin is looking great already. I've probably had 3 big spots in the 2 weeks compared to daily but I have used Retinoid for it before so knew it would work.
I ordered over new year and their delivery was really slow but they did email to apologise and discounted my second month by 20%.

QueenPawPaws · 01/02/2021 00:45

Skin and me, and yes my skin has changed completely
Acne gone except for the odd spot, sebaceous filaments gone, and the tret glow Grin

WhoEatsPopTarts · 01/02/2021 00:51

I’ve tried both and prefer Skin&Me. Used Dermatica fir a year and I peeled the entire time, it did reduce but I couldn’t wear foundation or I looked awful so I decided to give up and cancelled.

Then I saw an add for Skin & Me and thought I try, the difference is amazing. The prescription is more or less the same but I can tolerate it so much more so the formula is much better for me.

SmallYappyTypeDog · 01/02/2021 06:52

Started skin and me in June (I think it was) on a desperate whim to try anything. I have had adult acne all my life and always had at least one big spot brewing if not several across my face. No side effects due to the slow build up and my spots had gone within 6 weeks. Had no big spots since and just a couple of small whitehead style spots after a few days of just using makeup wipes after late nights.

I am saving money overall as not trying abd chucking new skincare. My skin has never been this good. My sebaceous filaments are all but gone, texture has improved and I just need a bit of tinted moisturiser. I don't even know where my high power concealer is anymore! Very pleased with the customer service too.

I use skin+me and love it. It really does work and the dispenser works really well. I have a code you could use if you wanted for 2 months free for you. SAMANTHT3AHW

louisethedisease · 02/02/2021 18:16

Thanks to whoever used my code. Hope you get on with it as well as I do.

KizzyKat91 · 02/02/2021 18:29

Dermatica also made me peel horrifically. I‘Ve just stared skin & me and everything’s fine so far. It’s too early to judge the results, but my skin definitely feels smoother!

KizzyKat91 · 02/02/2021 18:30

I think the skin and me packaging is much better as well

startingtosmileagain · 02/02/2021 18:32

I’ve been using Skin and Me since November (so on my 3rd container) and this month the tret has increased from 0.4% to 0.9 this month. I’m not using it for acne, but for ageing, so who knows if it is helping, but I’m certainly not having any problems with it and like the ease of use.

startingtosmileagain · 02/02/2021 18:38

I also have a code for 2 months. No obligation, you can cancel any time.

I have been using Dermatica for 6 months, for Melasma/pigmentation not acne.
It’s almost completely cured! I can’t believe it and wish I’d known about it year ago.

LouiseBelchersBunnyEars · 02/02/2021 18:47

Hmm, it’s interesting so many of you are saying you peeled with Dermatica, that’s what’s happening to me right now, lots of peeling skin on the lower half of my face, corners of nose around lips and chin.

Perhaps I’ll give skin and me a go?

I’m hesitant to mess with it, as I’ve heard you need to ride it count 🤷‍♀️

Bomblette · 02/02/2021 19:33

Another one using skin + me. About 2 weeks in. I’ve used tret before and had horrific peeling, but this time, I got something very slight around the mouth for a day and now it’s fine. Skin looks brighter and fine lines less prominent. Not tried Dermtica, but pleased with skin + me and will keep going.

Another, no pressure, voucher code here is anyone is interested in first two months free: MARIANNF33DV

Damfino · 02/02/2021 19:41

To all those kindly posting codes, can more than one person use a code?

Bomblette · 02/02/2021 19:43

It looks like it Damfino, looking at the mail. It’s an email they send you once you sign up, so I guess you could forward to whoever you want to!

Damfino · 02/02/2021 20:17

@Bomblette

Thank you! Going to sign up Smile

oohmama · 08/02/2021 12:34

Really considering using skin +me

I don't have acne but my skin is more spotty than I'd like
But the main thing I want is aging prevention

I feel abit overwhelmed with it all!
And I have VERY sensitive skin so I'm really worried about doing it
But i hate my face so much I really want to feel better about myself so have to try something?

Shampops · 08/02/2021 12:51

Skin and Me will start you off on a very low dosage of tret when you fill in the questionnaire and inform them of your skin's sensitivity.

gottakeeponmovin · 08/02/2021 13:11

I've just started with Dermatica and so far really pleased with the results

popularinthe80s · 08/02/2021 17:02

@Bingowin, do you mind my asking what prescription you were put on for pigmentation? I've just been moved from hydro to niacinamide with Dermatica, the hydroquinone seemed to make my pigmentation worse.
