I missed Red’s culottes and sweatshirt - that is a cool look, very insouciant. The culottes look fab on you, no straining at the pleats there .
Several/many years ago when boots and short trousers (knee-length? can’t remember) were trendy a friend said to me I could wear that because I had long legs (longer than hers she meant, primarily, she is petite). But I have tried the cropped/culotte thing now a few times and I can’t get along with it. SoI think the trousers you posted Bo would be out. This might be foolish of me so I promise I’ll make an effort at some point to try on a similar item with an open mind.
As regards snake print I’m afraid you’ll have to fuck off. Possibly in a very dark combination like navy and black. And not up to my face. But I have looked at that very dress because of the colour before.
You posted the same skirt I did but a different colour (also great colour). It’s a good one I think, I’m only a little dubious on the hem.
Twist & Tango are a difficult brand, one of those that are no better than H&M really quality wise but with higher prices (which makes me loath to pay them). More importantly I find the sizes tricky. By their size guide on their website I would not fit into a 42, but my experience with most brands is that I most often do. [shrug] Basically, I dare not order without free returns, there are no guarantees.
The Cos skirt Luggage looks to me like the quintessential tricky Cos garment - clever, appealing, but hard as hell to actually wear. As for longish knits I’ve been wearing my Irish wool men’s jumper to death this winter so that’s my suggestion, look at those!
I don’t understand the mismatched in warmth looks either and bitch on the royal thread about heels/pumps worn with heavy wool coats. What IS the point. Most importantly I think they’re missing a trick by only doing that sort of styling, because we need tips on the other sort as well (the sort we wear). But bare legs are one thing, legs can be tolerant. Feet on the other hand ….
