Have attached photos. I am a slim (size 8) hourglass. However I am also 45 and have given birth to 3 children. My stomach has a slight curve even with control panels in my tights or underwear.

Can I still wear bodycon? On a good day I think I can. On a bad day I worry I'm kidding myself. My friends won't tell me the truth.

I don't like the dress or the boots. The line of the dress could be improved with better underwear.

You have a cracking figure and can absolutely wear bodycon.

Mischance · 09/11/2020 16:27

a slight curve - I wish I had one of those after 3 children!!! You are over-thinking this!!!

BlueJava · 09/11/2020 16:31

Definitely yes!!

Benjispruce2 · 09/11/2020 16:35

Yes absolutely just make sure no vpl.

SmudgeButt · 09/11/2020 16:41

I'd kill to have a figure like yours.

Can I please start with Trump? Just for the fun of it.

I love Karen Millen. Those were the days, blimey. OP the dress posted by Bluntness is lovely, but I really think you need to wear what you want even you want to check it looks ok from a figure point of view. I am envious of your figure, I am slim enough but not as toned as you are.

CleverCatty · 09/11/2020 16:43

@noseresearch

Of course, don’t think age matters - you have a great body! Although I’m not a huge fan of that dress sorry but that’s beside the point
same answer.

and if you need further security just wear spanx etc.

MacbookHo · 09/11/2020 16:44

This is nice. And it draws the eye upwards, to your perfect neck and décolletage.

agreed - bodycon to me always looks better when you're not squeezing yourself into it so it looks unflatteringly tight.

tinkerbellla · 09/11/2020 16:45

You look fantastic!

TessTackle · 09/11/2020 16:46

That “curve” is your uterus!
Your figure is absolutely gorgeous, yes yes and thrice yes wear body con to your hearts desire Wine

GrumblyMumblyisnotJumbly · 09/11/2020 16:47

Fab figure and you can definitely wear fitted closes but that dress looks like it's from the market.

CleverCatty · 09/11/2020 16:49

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping

I'd worry about the quality of Boohoo as it's been shockingly bad whenever I've ordered items from there - gone straight back!

Pity really because when Karen Millen first started it was my go to shop for 'classy' clothes when my budget didn't stretch to Joseph, Alberta Ferretti etc (both of which which I saved up for!). I used to love KM sales, got fab bargains there and have some strappy heels I bought years ago which were and are the comfiest ever. Reminiscent in some ways of when Whistles was good...

Ruthietuthie · 09/11/2020 16:49

You have a great figure, but could look so much better -- more current - in something else.

CleverCatty · 09/11/2020 16:49

roratone · 09/11/2020 16:51

Jeez - absolutely!

Whichoneofyoudidthat · 09/11/2020 16:56

Yes but I'd wear boots with heels

Toffeecoffeee · 09/11/2020 16:57

Bubbletrouble43 · 09/11/2020 16:58

It's the uterus tucked right down in the pelvis when non pregnant?
blindinglyobviouslight · 09/11/2020 17:13

God I love that Karen Millen dress in green that Bluntness linked to. I could only wear it if I didn't eat that day though. Which makes it a bit limited wear.....Grin

nosswith · 09/11/2020 17:15

You can wear a colour other than black and still look good.

Henrietty · 09/11/2020 17:19

You look great in that but I’m a size 12 and wear dresses like that! stop being self conscious

BabyItsAWildWorld · 09/11/2020 17:21

You have an amazing figure. Slim but with a lovely small waist and curve to your hips.

You can definitely rock that dress.
Ignore everyone saying body con is out of fashion - it depends how you wear it!

That dress, with chunky trainers or flat really chunky boots and an oversize duster coat - very cool!!

That dress with stilettos in the supermarket. Not cool.

Keep it, wear it, style it, enjoy your fabulous figure.
