What looks amazing on you?

I saw a thread about what we accept we cannot wear, so I thought a thread about what looks great on us would be nice as well!

Lovely thread.

I don't think I ever look 'amazing ' but I think I suit:
Black tights with heeled ankle boots and either a shortish skirt or a midi dress with a wrap top
Black skinny jeans
Dark rolled up straight jeans
Biker jackets
Scarves

And I look better when wearing:
Blusher
Lipstick
Eyeliner

5' 7 between 16 and 18 and nothing looks great on me. I have a digestive issue that causes me to bloat, so I have to have elasticated waists or something loose. I have things I feel OK in like dresses without defined waists, even though I'm short waisted I have pretty enormous boobs so the waists sit above my actual waist.

Despite being a short fat hourglass with huge boobs, those high necked waisted modesty style midi dresses from M&S look amazing on me. In theory should make me look like a fat frump but instead I look like a free-spirited prairie woman with a tiny waist and always get complimented on them. Plus I can pick them up dirt cheap on ebay so winner all round 😊

Since going grey I've been able to wear black again without it making me looked washed out

I’ve been sporting that look well too during this lockdown!

I have good legs, so skinny jeans and mini skirts and dresses look good on me, peasant type blouses too and most styles of boots, esp cowboy boots. Tea dresses too and fitted dresses, I'm a bit boho/70s in my style so anything from that era/look. Always get lots of compliments when wearing black.

I've just discovered that fitted midi dresses look great on me. So this winter I've bought eight of them to wear with tights, less chunky biker boots or mid heeled boots. It's effortless and somehow I look glamorous.

Snap! Are you my twin? I just feel frumpy, whatever I wear. Medication makes weight loss extremely hard work to.

Sleeveless tops - I have good arms.
I was approached after I gave a presentation at a conference. She didn't ask me clever scientific questions but whether I rock climbed!

Good thread op! It's often too easy to pick out what we don't like or what we think looks abit yuck on ourselves, some self love is a nice change.

I have a hourglass figure so have always felt lovely in a wrap dress or a pencil skirt/ high waisted floaty skirt with a fitted tshirt tucked in.
A short smock style dress. I always feel very feminine when I wear one.
Skinny Jeans with chunky boots.

Lipstick in soft peachy/pink colours - I have full lips and these colours make them look even fuller!

I understand what it’s like to pick out our worst bits — mine are my legs — but you mentioned you’ve big boobs. I think big boobs (with good bras) can look utterly amazing. I say maximise that.

That’s great! I love that you mentioned good arms. I’ve always been so focused on my not-so-good legs that I forget I have pretty good arms. They’re not perfect but they’re good and strapless tops and midi strapless dresses are a good look as a result.

Depends who you're asking. DP would say skinny jeans or leggings because he likes to see my ( large) arse clearly but female friends ( who I trust more!) tell me look great in mid length belted shirt dresses. I'm short and hourglass.

I love wearing knitted tunic/dresses with leggings and boots. I think they suit me.
I am short, size 10.

The duvet. In bed. I look bloody good asleep - need to do it more often.

Ooh, yes, I have a great head for hats.

I also suit classic wool coats if they have raglan sleeves
