Hello Rad I have no idea if long coats are making a comeback or not.
Though isn't there a theory that when the economy is booming skirts get shorter & longer when the economy is in recession?

Thanks for the new thread! I quite liked the red coat, it was just a tad too long but hey, at least it wasn't green! The navy suit jacket was odd, at first glance it looked like she'd been to the loo and got the back of the jacket tucked in her trousers.....odd, odd, odd. She's looking good though, hair big and bouncy and make up better than a few years back.

I think Kate really suits red, but the proportion and length of the coat needed black knee high boots for balance.
Love her bouncy hair and her joyfulness and sense of positivity at the events she attends.

Love the colour on her but I think there was just too much of the coat itself on her slim frame. The shape was wrong.

I wish she would celebrate her own beauty a bit more. I get that she needs to dress conservatively for her role, and not too extravagantly or exuberantly in these troubled times, but even so, I think she could get away with a bit more sass.

I thought the coat was awful neat too long. I saw some pics of the two AMcQ coats it's a hybrid of and both were nicer.

@Artforartssake - that's a very good point about Kate not celebrating her beauty. She's not a show off, and I think it's been a challenge for her. Her posture and confidence have improved, but she rarely really pushes the style.

Yes to this. I wanted to agree about her formal clothes not always fitting too well, but would go on to say she does casual chic really well. Something is really weird on the censorship front. It's just clothes discussion, like we do with with Euro and Brit Royals.

Maireas I always think she looks most relaxed and happy in informal country clothing and it really suits her.

Yes, I think she's done well for someone who has not sought the limelight and formal dressing.
