How many coats do we think she has?

I love my Dubarry Galways. Had them about 12 years, still comfy, warm and waterproof. The colourway that Camilla is wearing is not the nicest tbf.

RadiatorNoise · 27/10/2020 08:44

I have some Wellygogs which are similar, but a bit more shaped round the ankle. I bought them because I have dainty ankles and “shapely” calfs (aka fat, and normal boots don’t fit Blush).

FiveTwoFaster · 27/10/2020 08:51

@Eaumyword - where did you read that Camilla suffers from osteoporosis?

I know her mother died from it and she has always been a campaigner for the main charity but I can’t find anything to suggest she suffers from it herself?

Eaumyword · 27/10/2020 12:52

Oh I think you're right, I thought she did have it, because of her link with the charity. Sorry, as you were!Smile

I agree with this-I had some plain dark ish tweed ones which I loved for dogwalking. I'm less keen on the brighter colourway with sort of banding round them.
Shmithecat2 · 27/10/2020 14:30

I've the walnut ones, brown leather, brown banding, so not too garish. Particularly now, 12 years on, never waxed and fairly weather beaten.

Laiste · 27/10/2020 15:49

I've got Boden spotty wellies Grin

I love the high leg riding/walking boot crosses that you see. I wear skinny jeans and boots and various jackets for the school run (rural) but i (and all the other mere mortals) just look like we're out in our scruffs. Here is a gallery to flick through of Kate's more casual looks. Pic no.20 - that is quite the fab. casual outfit. She looks like principal boy in panto but amazing at the same time! Grin Envy < < envy.

Oh she looks great! I do love a photo montage.
My faves are 16, 17, 20, 31, 34, 36 and my absolute fave is 40. Those boots look like Fairfax and Favor?
Kate has killer legs, I'm so envious. Although I bet she doesn't lounge on the sofa watching Real Housewives of Cheshire, munching on cheesy wotsits and haribo like I may do...

AngelaScandal · 27/10/2020 19:11

Whoever said she looked like a principal boy in panto - spot on. Quite the look. It’s interesting they’ve had to reach back to her civilian days to compile this - there isn’t much variation in off-duty outfits

Always nice to see Mette-Marit looking happy and healthy.

I enjoyed that montage of Kate's casual looks; thanks for posting. Her hair in 40 is amazing. That's how I think it looks best.

Maireas · 27/10/2020 19:49

Lovely montage, thank you Laiste. She looks great in casual outfits, with the exception of no12, those brown culottes are not flattering. Nice to see her in flat shoes, her posture is far better and she holds herself well.

Doesn't Princess Benedikte look amazing for 76?! I really like that colour on her, and she looks so poised and elegant.

The frilly jumper in the montage is the perfect example of how long in the torso Kate is, the proportions are so far out. I like the cardigan/wrap in no.31 though

Maireas · 27/10/2020 20:56

Yes, it's not flattering. When the proportions are right, she looks great.

MadameMiggeldy · 27/10/2020 20:57

Who would the frilly jumper suit though?

Maireas · 27/10/2020 20:58

That is a gorgeous colour on Benedickte, MotherofPearl. She's very elegant.

Thanks to everyone posting the photos.
Princess Benedikte is gorgeous & looks early 60's not 76.

MadameMiggeldy · 27/10/2020 22:48

King Albert and Queen Paola meet with newly titled Princess Delphine. What would they possibly talk about?! I’m intrigued by this woman 😂
Decent refreshments not provided apparently.

MonsieurMiggeldy can’t understand why random pictures of Euro royals keep showing up in the family iCloud 😂

MadameMiggeldy · 27/10/2020 22:51

Take 2 this time with picture... 🤔

I thought it was only was happening to me Miggledy

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 27/10/2020 23:01

Kudos to Queen Paola as many spouses would not be so magnanimous (although both her & Delphine are the innocent parties)
I bet behind closed doors Paola has kicked Albert in the wedding tackle a few times.
