My Space NK calendar is arriving today. Yippee!

Knowing I have a lovely new calendar has made me use up some of the less exciting bits from the last one/GWPs. My bathroom feels like a spa!

I have Glossybox and H&B, that's probably all for me to be honest, I don't normally get any but thought I'd treat myself this year! Slightly tempted by no7 though...

Fatima maybe your DD would like the Smiggle AD. I got that last year for my niece & she loved it

My Rituals & WC calendars arrived along with all the DC Christmas presents from Amazon. Literally cannot move in my hallway at the moment 😂 Clearly I’m rubbing off on DH as he was looking at fun ADs on his phone last night & said “oh that WC one looks really nice!” Yes DH, that’s the one you’ve bought me for Christmas 🙄

My Elemis one arrived a few weeks ago, and I’ve opened every single drawer No, sorry I have no shame !

I think I may get the elemis @Thesuzle is it really as nice as it looks?

Hi just joining this new thread. So far I have the ASOS one which is all I really need, but will look out for any reductions on others (I hope).

I'm trying to persuade my husband that he'd like the Brewdog beer advent calendar so doesn't feel left out. He's not convinced.

I have H&B, I think I will wait and see if any are reduced but otherwise I might stick with one.

No. 7 comes out in a couple of weeks so I will wait and see what's inside - their colours for lip products and nail varnishes can be a bit meh in the calendars.

Same as you @pearshapedcat - I have H&B and was also thinking about No 7 but if it's not stuff I'll use (i.e a lot of lipstick) I won't bother!

L'Occitane is 15% off in JL but I saw it in store and it's tiny so I'm assuming they are all tiny samples?! I quite like at least 30ml products to decide whether I like them enough to buy a full size.

I have ASOS and H&B, completely agree @pearshapedcat if it is a gold nail varnish and red lip from No7 I am out but have space for one more, if not No7 then maybe a last minute bargain if there are reductions, thanks for the new thread. Things that are keeping me positive in the Covid winter are; lots of cosy nice things for the house, garden prep for a beautiful spring to look forward to, beauty advents and mumsnet to share, as much help as I can get round the house and keeping my fingers crossed that will be able to keep seeing the few people that we do!!

Also on a general beauty theme I have found that the mat paint on lip products I was less keen on in the past from calendars etc are the only mask compatible lip products I have, cream lipstick and oil/ gloss is now useless.../

Wow ordered Espa last night and it arrived this morning!! Wow.

OK, so I’ve had a sudden epiphany and decided AGAINST getting one of the obvious lux calendars. I have H&B and Lumene already and after much thought had settled on getting Liberty when it goes on sale. But my HN GWP arrived yesterday and to be honest, I’m drowning in branded skincare! Then this morning I caught a glimpse of the Freedm ethical/vegan calendar- it’s £149, but in addition to skincare and bath/body products contains sweets, chocs and a clothing item. Also you can choose whether to include makeup or not, with a choice of neutral or bright. So I watched a YouTube unboxing and have gone for that. I’m actually feeling excited for this one.......

SpaceNK arrived - it's huge and so beautiful, can't wait for the 01st December !

DH has bought me the SpaceNK one as a birthday present so decision out of my hands. Now to forget the contents as best I can.
