Thanks - the Next one does look quite nice. I quite like the ASOS one too but the packaging doesn't look very Christmassy - which is a ridiculous complaint, I know!

DillieDoily · 05/10/2020 10:49
@DillieDoily - I was debating between Look Fantastic and Birch box so if you like the LF one, maybe the birch box one? I got the LF in the end as it suited me better.
The Birchbox one is out of stock too- which is a shame as that looked fab too

OchonAgusOchonO · 05/10/2020 10:53

@DillieDoily - if debenhams do one this year, I would recommend based on last year's one. Also, H&B is really good. I got it for dd last year and this year.

Housewife2010 · 05/10/2020 11:19

I didn't mind them not doing an M&S one this year. I've bought it every year because it's such good value but it had got very samey. It seemed to be compulsory to contain a Prai Neck Cream, Eyeko eyeliner, This Works Pillow Spray ( which I do love) and a lipgloss/liquid lipstick which was too light for me. I think Holland & Barrett have done brilliantly again with a really practical calendar at a low ( For Advent Calendars) price with contents where I'll use everything. I'm still hankering after Cult Beauty though.

There are a lot of 20% off elle advent calendar codes around if anyone is interested in it. It's still pricey for me for the content it is

www.beautyadventcalendars.uk/post/get-20-off-the-elle-advent-calendar-with-this-code

as I don't need few of the full size products but may interest some

LoveEatYoga · 05/10/2020 11:46

I would have gone for the Elle if not for the LF. They were equal in my mind so I went for the cheaper of the two but might have been swayed by 20% off!

ajandjjmum · 05/10/2020 12:34

I bought DD the Elle calendar for the last two years - might get it again now there's a discount! She's loved them previously.

carolebaskinfedhimtothetigers · 05/10/2020 12:55

@DillieDoily I was debating between ASOS and look fantastic, I preordered look fantastic yesterday but if that hadn't been available i would've gone for ASOS.

LoveEatYoga · 05/10/2020 14:26

I would like the aveda damage remedy that I've got in advent calendars previously. I don't think it's in the LF calendar but might be one for the swaps!

DillieDoily · 05/10/2020 14:47

I take it Look Fantastic is unlikely to restock the advent calendars? At the moment I think I'm going for ASOS over Feel Unique or Amazon . The Elle one looks great but £100 is just a bit much for me . Although I really want the Culf Beauty or Liberty ones!

stepmotherofone · 05/10/2020 16:47

@LoveEatYoga I’ve got a couple of tubes of the Aveda unopened that aren’t for me. Both are from advents last year. Would be very happy to swap with you!

LoveEatYoga · 05/10/2020 16:48

Ooh lovely @stepmotherofone I will PM you

MiaN · 05/10/2020 17:14

My space nk arrive. I have to admit I opened few boxes. I put the products back in and will open properly in December.

It's big, heavier than previous year and the products are great! I love it, I am very happy with my choice. Very happy & bright vibe, it is lovely to look at

Babysharkdoodoodood · 05/10/2020 18:03

Code for John Lewis £20 off £120 if you're a JL member. I think you can only get the advent via the app atm.

The JL calendar looks good and I just found some other nice advent calendars on their website like the Charbonnel et Walker one (didn't know they did one!) and a crafty sewing one

ithinkiveseenthisfilmbefore · 05/10/2020 18:16

I would love an Elemis calendar, love their products. Not sure I can justify it this year, though.

Lumene is always lovely and more affordable. Will study that one.

foilflower · 05/10/2020 18:36

My Elemis calendar came today and it looks great - even my husband (who has no interest in beauty products) was impressed!

I’ve ordered another Lumene one as a birthday present for my mum, she loves skincare as much as I do.

RozHuntleysStump · 05/10/2020 19:02

I ordered the arran one. Don’t forget the 20%off!

I will now have 5 advent calendars. Still not found a yarn calendar I want but will probably try get a fibre one for spinning if I can.

DillieDoily · 05/10/2020 20:04

Can anyone share a link to the John Lewis calendar? I've downloaded the app, and logged in with my JL account but still not seeing it?

Pomegranatespompom · 05/10/2020 20:46

15% off L'occitane @ John Lewis

ajandjjmum · 05/10/2020 20:47

I've just ordered the JL one with the £20 off code kindly supplied by Babyshark. A good saving - thank you.

I have to stop watching this thread now!!!

Thank you! Now that is tempting!

ithinkiveseenthisfilmbefore · 05/10/2020 22:00

Have ordered a Lumene calendar. Smashing deal! Ordered the calender and a bit of makeup I am almost out of to push it up over £100, used the 20% off code that's still valid online, and also got 2 free gifts with the order: Lumene lotion AND a £105 FeelUnique Exclusive Birthday Bag of treats! Feeling rather chuffed about the whole thing.

Link to birthday bag contents: www.feelunique.com/offers/uk-exclusive-feelunique-birthday-bbag-oct-5th

ithinkiveseenthisfilmbefore · 05/10/2020 22:06

Feel unique birthday bag offer valid until 7th october, btw.
