@justilou1 your post made me crack up 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well done with your clear out! I need to do the same but with clothes. I will try and sell as much as I can on ebay, the rest to charity. My SIL works in a charity shop and says it is manic at the mo.

I have an empty:

  • M&S Formula Absolute ultimate sleep cream: this is HG for me. It is just so good! I have some other stuff in my stash but will buy again when all that is used up.

Blanx toothpaste gone.

And a listerine mouthwash.

DeciduousPerennial · 06/12/2020 20:30

I’ve finished a Weleda Skin Food today. HG product - always at least two on the go.

Has anyone used the Beauty Pie reseveratrol capsules?

Caggie09 · 06/12/2020 21:09

Girlz only dry shampoo. Picked a few up for 25p, i do quite like it. But sometines find despite all the rubbing in, it still looks grey-ish.
Lush snow fairy shower gel. Classic Chrimbo scent isnt it?!
Dove beauty sleep body lotion. Not keen on the scent on my skin, usually like lavendar scented things, but this it smelt kinda weird when rubbed in. Would try other Dove body lotions after using this one so will keep an eye out!

Babysharkdoodoodood · 06/12/2020 22:39

M&S sleep cream. Trying the new version with cbd in next.

I haven’t used BP Resveratrol Capsules (but would if I could.) I take Resveratrol here in Aus and rate it. Must caution those who are taking blood pressure meds to speak to their doctors first. It can significantly lower BP if dosage high enough to be clinically active. (I have no idea bout Beauty Pie ones.) (Mine is already low, so I have to drink LOTS of water!)

ememem84 · 07/12/2020 09:07

Revlon eyebrow pen gone.

ememem84 · 07/12/2020 09:25

@justilou1 I must also drink more water. I am dehydrated as f! Skins gone all wierd. Possibly the lack of water and being in air con and cold weather.

Although we’re semi lockdown here so wfh at present.

justilou1 · 07/12/2020 10:12

@ememem84 I don’t think I drink enough water (unless it’s of the tonic variety and contains a big slug of gin...), but I am trying. I do find that the more I drink, the more I want, which is weird. Am drinking lots of homemade green juices (pond slime) atm. It’s too hot to bother cooking and actually eating.

ememem84 · 07/12/2020 10:49

i'm the same with tonic water. needs gin.

i've a 750ml bottle of water on my desk right now. so far its still full. have had 3 coffees though....

justilou1 · 07/12/2020 12:02

Coffee is probably my favourite water, @ememem84.... (Soooooo goooooooood!) I have dropped back to 1-2, max 3 espressos per day. But I genuinely love the bloody stuff. If I could eat patisserie, it would be coffee flavoured things all the way..... sigh.... wish water wasn’t so, meh!

ememem84 · 07/12/2020 13:13

Water. Essential for hydration. But so so boring.

Flat white for me all the way. 😀

BookShark · 07/12/2020 19:41

I'll have my water fermented with grapes please. Or failing that, sparkling. I'm not too bad about drinking it - always have a bottle on my desk, so just continually top up through the day.

Anyway, a couple of empties. Lancome Visionnaire - not that impressed. I bought it after trying a sample of Genefique, and liking that but thought it was probably aimed at older skin, so went for the Visionnaire, but I'm not sure it's really done anything for me. Should have stuck with what I knew!

Simple intensive moisturiser - not exciting and I've had it for ages, but ideal for my very sore noise which is suffering after a horrible cold! A bit like E45.

ememem84 · 07/12/2020 20:07

Ah yes. The fermented grape water. That’s also a winner here.

The fermented grape lorry is arriving here tomorrow with my Christmas delivery. 😂😂

Caggie09 · 08/12/2020 07:44

Im quite good with drinking water, but i dont drink anything else so thats probably why!

Sisley Velvet sleeping mask gone. Ahh, i rewlly liked this, i used every other night as it would be too rich. It sunk in really well, skin looked plump and glowy in the morning. Shame it's far to expensive.

Briogeo strengthening hair oil. I like using hair oil after washing my hair, put it in dry hair rather than damp. I try to look after my hair, but i favour my face and body more.. Sweet floral which i liked, made my hair silky soft and smooth even when hair wash day was coming closer. I wont RP atm, as i have lots of oils, but i will in the future as a treat. < Which is always my attitude to buying myself things😁

justilou1 · 08/12/2020 11:50

Am annoyed that my hairdresser has swapped from being a L’Oreal Professional salon to bloody Kerastase. I know that they’re made by the same company and that Kerastase is the more expensive, thicker formula, in smaller bottles - which means that you end up using more of the bloody stuff which costs twice the price and has much more fragrance. Aaagh! Looks like I’m going to risk Amazon now.

Costacoffeeplease · 08/12/2020 12:10

Quite a few empties, some from advent calendars

ememem84 · 08/12/2020 12:59

@justilou1 feel unique? Will that deliver to you?

justilou1 · 08/12/2020 13:16

Thanks, @ememem84... have found a few companies that do. I’m not going to be saddled with fakes. (Lucky too, because I have just taken my midlife crisis out on my hair and bleached it white.)

ememem84 · 08/12/2020 14:05

woah! that's brave (although during lockdown i dyed mine neon pink...)

it isn't pink any more though.

i do have a box of violet dye upstairs so might use that soon. the ends of my hair are blond from a balayage which has long since grown out. might be festive to have purple hair.

justilou1 · 08/12/2020 14:39

Wonder how long it will last? Weirdly don’t have any greys yet... suspect I just wanted to see how it would look.

justilou1 · 08/12/2020 14:40

Whoops! Bumped the post button again! I think you should try the violet for Christmas or NY!

ememem84 · 08/12/2020 15:27

might do it this weekend. i'm working from home for the foreseeable now as we're essentially in lockdown here again, so if it all goes wrong it doesn't really matter. Smile

QueenPaws · 08/12/2020 15:29

Some more empties. Nothing too exciting

Empty no. 63 🚮 Medik8 Advanced Day Total Protect Anti-Ageing Moisturiser SPF 30 (0.8 ml; feelunique’s Pick & Mix).

A new generation of chemical sunscreen – it blocks infra-red and blue light, and is much safer than oxybenzone- and octinoxate-based sunscreens which are highly toxic to humans and marine wildlife. A tiny sample provided two applications. It doesn’t leave a white cast, and sits well under makeup. I will definitely purchase the full size once I’m through my sunscreen stash.

A total number of products left in the face sunscreen category: 3 full-size products.
