I’m also a big fan of the bum bum cream, I don’t like the ?coconut one in the green tub though.
Few more empires from me:
The prai cream was in a beauty box, didn’t like at all, doesn’t absorb.
Think the shower gel was from liberty GWP - liked the smell and texture - not sure if enough to repurchase.
I like most L’occitane things.
This thread is really inspiring me to use things up Smile

Empties not empires 🤣

Experiment627 · 14/11/2020 15:52

@justilou1 so you would recommend the Laneige lip masks?

@TeatimeAtCloppa are you finding that just by applying more creams to neck area it is helping?

OP posts:
Costacoffeeplease · 14/11/2020 16:38

I like the prai neck cream and use it a lot, and have noticed a difference. I tend to think if it doesn’t do anything then maybe you don’t need it yet?

Pomegranatespompom · 14/11/2020 18:07

@Costacoffeeplease possibly, do you find it sits on top of the skin? It kind of piled on me iykwim

Costacoffeeplease · 14/11/2020 18:08

I think that’s maybe putting too much on as it’s quite rich?

Pomegranatespompom · 14/11/2020 18:11

Ah maybe, I think I need to learn more about application and order of application.

Caggie09 · 14/11/2020 18:37

Garnier spf is now my HG❤ Im moving onto Nivea though next, but will RP. It sinks in quickly, doesnt feel greasy and no white cast. Works perfect under my makeup. For £7, you cannot go wrong.

111 Skin cleansing balm. Wasnt keen, warmed up on the skin. Just didnt enjoy the first cleanse experience with it.

Niod MMHC. Really nice hyrdration serum. Id possibly RP. The one im using now, i prefer over the Niod though!

Experiment I honestly didn't notice any difference at all which was disappointing as it is pretty pricey. Around £70 I think.🥴 I have started doing some face exercises like the Les Dawson so I'm hoping in a few weeks I will see a difference. I wouldn't buy the Dennis Gross one again.

Experiment627 · 14/11/2020 20:32

@TeatimeAtCloppa I did try face yoga at one point for my double chin but I never kept at it long enough to know if it would make a difference

Multi vitamins out today
Also the dc finished a toothpaste.

justilou1 · 14/11/2020 23:28

@Experiment627 - I think the Laneige Lip Masks are the best and never ever want to be without them. My personal ranking system for scents are
1: Grapefruit 2: Apple and Lime 3: Berry 4: Unscented 976: Vanilla 🤢 I haven’t tried the chocolate mint or the gummy bear scents. They don’t appeal.
I have the peach one in a tube, and it’s also lovely, but it doesn’t last as long. (I mean on the lips)
I will credit continued use of this balm with keeping my lips relatively plumped for my age, too. I’ve been using it for years.

justilou1 · 14/11/2020 23:29

Btw, @Experiment627- you can buy a set of four mini pots of the lip masks on YesStyle if you want to try them out. Good for handbag/car/bedside table, etc

Experiment627 · 15/11/2020 07:44

@justilou1 OMG the Yesstyle site is amazing... what have you started?????

justilou1 · 15/11/2020 08:03

Sorry @Experiment627 ... that can be a very expensive rabbit hole! Check out the Sanrio Lip Creams too. I bought some for my DDs for Xmas. 😍😍😍 (of course, I hope they make it here to Aus before then!)

TeatimeAtCloppa · 15/11/2020 11:55

The YeaStyle site is incredible. I've got some really great serums and creams from there. Takes about three weeks to arrive.

Experiment627 · 15/11/2020 13:37

@TeatimeAtCloppa tell me more! I mean I may as well make an order that provides free delivery...

The Premium Red Hada Labo range is awesome and so is the Blue HL Range if you have hyperpigmentation. (Unfortunately they call it “whitening”, but it’s gentle, but very effective for sun damage.) I mix the Ordinary Niacinamide and L-Ascorbic Acid powders into the lotion which is full of their famous Hyaluronic Acid as well. Plays nicely with my sunscreen and sits on top of my retin-A without stinging. I have had great results. Also check out James Welsh on YouTube for his recommendations. He loves Korean and Japanese skincare, and often recommends YesStyle.

TeatimeAtCloppa · 15/11/2020 13:57

😂 Experiment be warned once you start it is so hard to stop!! 🙈

Well, my favourites are Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum, Purito Centella Green Level Buffet Serum, Phyto Niacin Essence, Quesera Ceramide Ampoule and Collagen Ampoule, both by Plant Base.

There are so many gorgeous serums and I feel like a kid in the sweetie shop when I go on that site sometimes!!! There are always deals to be had too.🤩

ememem84 · 15/11/2020 15:20

Finished some multivitamins. Not technically style of beauty but they help me feel good. So I’m counting it! Kids I. The stag though as stocked up during the March lockdown.

Pomegranatespompom · 15/11/2020 16:51

@justilou1 interested in your advice re pigmentation, I’ve been using Dermalogica but it’s not that effective.

DeciduousPerennial · 15/11/2020 20:20

Bloody YesStyle. Just don’t. 🙈

justilou1 · 15/11/2020 21:33

My experience with pigmentation is this:- Firstly, I from a very hot, sunny part of Australia, so damage kind of impossible to avoid. I have been very good about sunscreen on my face, but wasn’t so great on my neck and décolleté. I had very diffuse, broken capillaries all over that area, and some brown splotches all over the lower part of my face (probably where hats didn’t quite shade my face). This cocktail has gradually resolved the redness completely. (The Hada Labo premium contains tranaxemic acid which is used both for hyperpigmentation in skincare, but also is an anti-inflammatory that is used to stem blood flow. It’s slow, but really effective, especially in combo with vit C & niacinimide.)
www.byrdie.com/tranexamic-acid-for-skin

Obviously, if I were to go for any of the products mentioned in the articles listed in the article attached, I’d choose the Good Molecules one. I haven’t seen Good Molecules here at all. 😩 The others are INSANELY over-priced for what they are (and a mask isn’t going to cut the mustard, tbh - you need to use this twice a day.)
Just add vitamin C. (Seriously love the powder - never oxidizes and it doesn’t sting. Currently hard to get, though.)
Hope that helps!

justilou1 · 15/11/2020 21:35

Oh, and sunscreen OBVS!!! 30+ Summer and 50++++ in Summer here. (Yes, I reapply.)

Pomegranatespompom · 16/11/2020 07:36

Thank you so much @justilou1 will read properly later, just got to work.
