Beauty Advent Calendars 2020

After a weird year, who is thinking about treating themselves? Can’t believe how quickly this has come round!

Nothing is out yet but some places are keeping waiting lists for notifications e.g. Cult Beauty. The John Lewis sneak peak looks promising. And I believe Body Shop is out the end of this month.

Any you will be looking out for? I’m thinking of splurging on a decent one this year — I had serious envy over Cult Beauty last year. I’ve also become a huge SpaceNK fan this year so I’ll have my eye out to see what they’re producing.

My big surprise hit last year was Holland and Barrett — super cheap and some brilliant items. If it’s as good this year I might end up with that as a bonus.

My H&B arrived today too, pretty much intact aside from no.2 door half open. Fortunately not enough to see the contents and an early door for opening so it wont annoy me when it comes back out of the cupboard. Like others I was surprised at the size - glad I wasn't picking up from a store after all. Although, despite my being home all afternoon the Hermes guy didn't knock but left the box in a corner of the garden and its been raining the last couple of hours Still, the cat is happily ensconed in the big damp smelly box now!

I’m looking for a calendar with is full of bath/relaxing things. No face skincare or makeup. Any ideas? Budget around £80

The Arran calendar looks nice.

Are Arran good quality products?

I've used some Arran products before when on holiday in Scotland and from what I remember they were very nice with gorgeous scents.

I ordered so far Space NK advent, space nk gwp and cult beauty gwp. Loved good few things from cult beauty gwp - even if the natasha denona palette was not for me at all. The mini makeup brush set & hair mask and shower gel are lovely

I've just arranged for my H&B one to be sent to my son and gf. I was going down next week, but having my mastectomy on the 14th so having to isolate for a fortnight. So sad

But in better news I have a 20% discount for CT with blue light card so hopefully can use it on the advent. I've now got over £3000 saved, thanks to wfh. It's shocking how much I used to spend on travel/gym/spa and top up shops! So might get the Liberty Men advent. More my type of fragrances than the women's one.

Does anyone know if there will be a Mankind Calendar this year - it was brilliant last year, and I know my son was rather envious of DH, as I got it for him. The additional benefit was that it was half price in December!

Ye are all such bad influence ( and I'm so easily persuaded!), that I
have bought 3 Advent Calendars...Birchbox, Rituals and FeelUnique! I normally get M&S and was so disappointed that they weren't bringing one out this year, I had to search for a replacement. Now have 3😃!! I've had such a horrible year I'm starting Christmas build up early, so am starting opening on 1st of November. I plan to open FeelUnique for month of November, Birchbox in December and Rituals for January. Can't wait to spread out the surprises🤗. Must stop reading this thread as it's dangerous for my bank account!
