I've lived in these Hush jeans since I got them; I might buy another pair. My top is from the Kooples but it's ancient - I bought it in 2013!

Lovely necklace @Terralee and love the cords @Ellapaella although cropped so even though I'm not massively tall I find that means cold shins & ankles ❄️ I still might buy some and give them a go 🤫

My next lot of jeans has come and I think I might have a pair that works!
Highwaisted flares only problem is they are a tiny bit to long but if I got a regular leg they'd be to short!
Picture for you of the reject which is Next power stretch flares they have false front pockets and the zip flap doesn't sit right.
I've ordered some more high waisted straight legs as well that will come next.

Today is the perfect day for this outfit as if it's to cold my ankle freeze.

@OublietteBravo I only have one pair of trousers from Monki and the cords that are on the way. The trousers I have are a 38 which is a 10 and are a good fit, true to size I'd say. I'll let you know when the cords arrive what the sizing on those is like.
I think @Judystilldreamsofhorses buys a fair bit from Monki so may be able to advise better than me

Very quick post before I catch up with the thread.

Comfy for a sleepover (DD not me) and dressed in actual clothes as I have to open the door to her friends mum.

Changed the jeans as looking at the photo reminded me that the other ones are far better with boots and a slouchy jumper!

@Sooverthemill I love those jeans. I have a pair in a similar colour and they are tricky to put colours with. Let us know what you come up with. I find green seems to tone down the blueness a bit iykwim. Or I wear them with bright pink and channel my inner teenager.

@Softpebbles looking forward to seeing the vejas and the other accidental buys - they are sometimes the best.

@Ellapaella also interested to see how you get in with the cords. I ordered and sent back two pairs of jigsaw ones recently, I think because they felt very thick compared to jeans. And it was about 35 degrees. I may feel differently now Autumn is here.

@Justonedayatatime11 with legs like that you can wear whatever you damn well want. You can wear your heals vicariously for me and @itssquidstella. Years ago I'd have run for the tube in those. Nowadays I'd die. Literally. Have fun.

Just catching up on the thread, I seem to have missed several days. Time is whipping by at the moment. Too many fab outfits to comment on but everyone looks amazing, as ever. @Ellapaella I really love your Toast jumper and the outfit you put with it, they looked brilliant. I'm also now contemplating ordering a pair of those Monki cords!

@Softpebbles thanks for asking, that's so kind of you. I'm doing OK, DH is in the military so I'm pretty used to it now after 7.5 years. It's trickier with a toddler than when I was footloose and fancy free and just went off drinking and horse riding with my friends for however long he was away, but less tough than last year when DS was a newborn and DH was based 160 miles away from home and only back at weekends! We chug along OK, DS is very easy generally, and I'm visiting my parents this weekend, which has been lovely and means I get conversation other than "What does the duck say?" and The Gruffalo song. 😂 With regards to @happytobemrsg, I don't know her personally, but I saw her pop up on one of the Lucy & Yak FB groups I'm on the other day, so I think she's OK.

Not many outfits from me as mostly I've been in leggings and a hoodie this week. I'm bad for not making much effort when DH is away. I'll try to be a bit better next week.

I'm hoping it stays nice as we are off to the Scottish highlands next week. We were meant to be going to Portugal but I cancelled that back in May, no way am I going on an aeroplane anytime soon. So we booked a week on a lovely cottage up near Loch Ness instead. Can't wait.

Off to the park/skatepark just out with DD and her friend.

Will pair with white Whistles trainers (again charity) and a vintage charity jean jacket when we go out.

We have great charity shops! Thigh I e not been in one for about 4 months.

Off to walk dog then go for a family pub lunch. Casual

It got very warm and sunny so I changed. We are sat in garden with coffee and crossword. It’s very messy indoors still so this is nice

Welcome back @toastfiend - I thought I hadn’t seen you for a while.

I’m trying out a new pair of trainers (bought in the sales several weeks ago). DD (16) approves, so they must be OK I’m secretly pleased that her feet are bigger than mine so she can’t actually steal my shoes!
