Long time lurker here. Just popping on to day @Sickoffamilydrama have you tried Topshop? They have lovely flared jeans in just now in a few different styles. I think the straight leg are best on you but I find Next jeans a bit low waisted for rucking tops into. They don't really work that way.

I’m wearing a sparkly jumper for the first time this autumn and wondering if it is too soon.

I noticed that the Warehouse website is back up. The clothing selection is very disappointing (and there is no way to filter for knitwear). I’ll have to find an alternative. But not this month - my car insurance is due.

Got some new boots from fly london but think I need to try a smaller size. They are big on the heel (too wide) and a tad long, but unsure if the next size down will be tight on length. Might be double returns.

@OublietteBravo I ordered a dress from oasis as they are back up and running. I didn’t keep it but it’s good to see that there maybe new stock and nice things in the future.

@Sickoffamilydrama looks like those jeans are returns too. It’s so hard to find a style isn’t it. My daughter has wider hips and gets on well with topshop jeans.

I thought the weather was going to be nice today and have dressed a bit optimistically!

Dress from stitch fix. I think it will be nice in winter with tights and a cardi. I like the fit. It’s tricky with dresses when you have boobs 🤦‍♀️

@Ellapaella I was googling Veja last night and liked the Campo style. Trying to resist as I have so many pairs of trainers.

@toastfiend I hope you are doing ok. I know you said your DH was going away with work.

@Sickoffamilydrama why don't you try high waist relaxed straight? ( Boden definitely have these) that would give you some room in them but not too flappy or saggy! I like the mint velvet Inès in you best of these. My fat face replacement ones came and I really like them but do I need them?
Nurse came and has some ideas but when I saw her out she did say she didn't know if anything would help as she's so bad. But she's willing to keep contacting colleagues for advice. She's very anxious we dint push DD or make her worse.
Today I'm in very casual clothes as it's going to be dirty day with lots of dust again, you've seen this lots!

@Softpebbles the Veja @Ellapaella has are the campo. I have the same style but only worn once so far as I try to keep to sandals for as long as possible!
Thank you everyone I didnt see any of these posts when I posted earlier. DD is bad but I know she should settle at some point to a manageable level for us all. I do feel selfish but this is incredibly hard on me ( obviously worse for her) emotionally and physically. Ridiculously last night in her efforts to cheer herself up we were googling ice rinks as she wants to go ice skating again ( she's a natural) . She hasn't walked in 7 years! But we were also looking at fancy ice skates. But we dint know her shoe size now. She's a fighter bless her

@Sickoffamilydrama I prefer the flare style jeans on you but would be better in a shorter leg length, apart from that I think the style is very flattering on you.

Thanks everyone for their idea with the jeans I love clothes but hate Jean shopping! I'm not going to be popular with the cashier when I return them to our local Next , difficulty is not being able to go and try a load on. Especially with big curvy hips.

I had a nice surprise today ordered a t shirt and hoody from vegan outfitters and they sent me the wrong t shirt, when I complained to them they are sending the right one to me and allowing me to keep the wrong one so my Dsis now has a new t shirt.

Interesting about Oasis and Warehouse continuing online, I hadn't realised. My office is near their main shops in my city so I have been making the most of their closing down sales. They've been getting all the stock from across their Irish shops so its going on months. Only Oasis is still open now but everything is 50% off last marked price- I bought 3 jumpers and a skirt for less than €50 last week!

WFH today and back in my yellow trousers - had a few errands to run at lunch so it was the first time wearing them out of the house. I felt a bit self conscious about them which was silly really, don't think anyone actually noticed them and they make me happy!

It's the Hamsa symbol with a heart in the middle which reminds me of my trip to the old Jewish district of Krakow.
I'm really happy with it.

I have bought a pair of jigsaw jeans in the seasonal sale at £36. Hope they look as good on me fingers crossed 🤞

I caved and ordered the Veja Campo to try. I can always send back. We don’t have any ships in our town and even if I went to a city I wouldn’t be able to try.

That’s it though. I need to sell some bits on eBay to get rid and save some money.

I have some mint velvet or jigsaw jeans in order from next out of their sale. Have tried to cancel but lots of my account features don’t seem to be working at the moment - there is also some pink Levi’s I wanted to cancel. No doubt they will turn up at some point 🙈

I've just ordered these cords from Monki in forest green. Am hoping they will be a good alternative to jeans over the winter, I think they will work with both my DM's and veja's. Will report back I've they arrive.
I've seen a few skirts I like in H&M but in practicality I'm not much of a skirt person unless it's for going out and I'm not going out much in these corona times!

New( to me) jeans. Citizens of humanity via eBay. Guessing at least last season but I wanted to try a mom style in a lighter wash. I like them but gosh the colour is tricky! Any ideas? Much lighter than, say, washed old ancient jeans more baby blue

It’s a lovely autumnal day. In a previous life we would have gone on a big walk and picnic. Instead I will be doing the washing!

Me too @Softpebbles - it's beautiful and sunny here but a chill in the air. I'm doing a yoga workshop all afternoon, it's a lovely venue right on the beach. I'll probably just stick my yoga stuff on once I've walked the dog this morning.
DS had a surf lesson booked but we've rearranged it for tomorrow as the sea is flat as a pancake today.

Morning all for some reason Mumsnet has reverted back to my old name but I am moonface biggins! Love those cords @Ellapaella I have lots of cords from Top Shop but very tempted by those as love Monki too! Funny weather today so not sure if I will be cold or hot! I changed boots as I can't walk too far in them and I'm running lots of errands and getting another tattoo!

Morning! I’m not sure how many layers I need today. It’s sunny but not nearly as warm as it looks. I might have to add a jacket or jumper (I can’t remember the last time I wore a jacket). I’m enjoying watching everyone transitioning to their autumn wardrobes.

@Ellapaella - I love the colour of those cords. What is Monki sizing like? DD has just started sixth form college and needs more clothes (she’s a size 6/8), and I think Monki might appeal to her.

Love the cord blazer @hopewardrobe. I’m sure I used to have a similar one - I wonder what happened to it?
