Looking good all even those in practical clothing.

Not the best weekend but neither was the one before, had to have my DD pet rat put down last weekend as it got a chest infection & was gasping so yesterday we collected some babies to keep the his cage mate company. This morning I go check on him and he's gasping so another trip to the vets & another round of me sobbing like a fool over a rodent!
Luckily we hadn't introduced the babies to him yet so hopefully they won't catch it 🤞
Anyway back to clothing

I love yesterday's dress @Sickoffamilydrama. Sorry to hear about the rats, that's very sad. Thanks @CleverCatty, it's new, was a gift from my best friend for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. It was a sale buy and not online any more unfortunately (I tried to get it in other colours as it's just so easy to wear) but might be in store still? Love your jumper @Ellapaella, it's beautiful.

We've driven up to stay with friends for a few days today. It's quite a long drive so I was dressed for comfort.

I like that jumper too @Ellapaella. I keep getting an advert for a white jumper from Hush pop up that I like but trying to be good as I don’t really need anything. The only thing I’ve thought about is getting new patent docs in half a size bigger and selling my others as I think they are a bit tight. I’m sure my feet have grown 🤦‍♀️

Still humid! Got to get down to work in kitchen ( they start next week) so I’m in practical clothes

It’s raining. Not just drizzle or showers, but persistent rain. I’m glad I brought warm clothing with me. I might even wear my boots...

@Sickoffamilydrama so sorry about the rats. We had a random rescue pair once - they were such fun. Hope the new babies go some way to making you smile.

@toastfiend I love dark grey and bright orange, are those "softer" L&Y trousers? They look quite unstructured which is my kind of thing.

In the interests of posting what I actually wear, currently in running gear and CBA to change yet as I need to tackle some garden jobs so will shower and change after.

That's the problem with UK holidays isn't @OublietteBravo I've had some great ones though come rain or sun half you've got some layers nothing worse than not having the right clothing for the weather when away.

Dsis put this dress out I might be able to tell why the sleeves ride up and pinch your arms and the pleets do make you like slightly pregnant nothing wrong with looking pregnant if you are but I'm definitely not
So think it will go to charity.

@Sickoffamilydrama I'm so sorry about the rats. They are so sweet. We have never had them but had every other kind of caged thing eg hamster, gerbil, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs...hens ,ducks, cats, dogs. DD lobbied for a goat.

Hello all, just catching up now, never seem to get to this over the weekend or days I'm in the office.

Saturday's outfit: coral vest: not sure of brand. picked it up in an outdoor shop in the lake district last year, its very basic but I love the colour; gap jeans. Sunday I wore the same jeans with a t and a hoodie, no picture.

Monday: back in the office, sorry for bad pic, must petition them to get a full length mirror! Weather was distinctly autumnal so embraced it with my outfit choice. Cardigan: Next, about 10 years old; T shirt: Warehouse; Skirt: Fat Face; Tights probably M&S; Shoes: Clarks. I think it was the first time I've worn tights and proper shoes since before lockdown, felt nice to be back in my normal work clothes!

WFH today: jeans: H&M; jumper: Oasis

Been thinking about getting some Brown brogues @coffeeandcardigans your outfit may have persuaded me it looks great. Like the t shirt @Sooverthemill.
I'm trying this jumpsuit as workwear although everyone can only see my head & shoulders. I think it works I'm not sure if it's proportions would work with a blazer though and when we are in the office the men are in suits. I am also in a senior role so always think I need to dress like I'm in charge.

Autumn has arrived with the rain for me today! I’ve been desperate to get this skirt out. I tried out a new thing with my hair, I think I like it so I will do it more often, it’s usual states are: down, bun or ponytail so I thought this was nice, quick and easy 😁

The pink skirt is being repeated again today, it just feels right with the weather. Burgundy and pink is one of my favourite colour combinations so it’ll be seen a lot.

It's positively autumnal here today-it Raines all day yesterday and there's a fresh breeze now. I'm walking the dog round the quarry - taking the kids out to the woods later. Wearing Toast jumper, M&S Ivy skinnies and wellies. Not cold enough for a coat but it's threatening rain again.

I’ve had a busy week with a friend staying. It was nice to see them but it’s lovely to have the house quiet again. I’ve got an online gym class and can’t be bothered to get dressed twice. Later I need to be smart so I’ve got a new dress from warehouse sale. This is a picture from a few days ago when I bought it. I hadn’t spotted my husband’s very attractive walking hat in the picture!
Sports kit is from h and m (top) and kyodan leggings via tk maxx. Their leggings are brilliant-they actually stay up through anything.

@Softpebbles Unfortunately, where I live tights are required! Plus I hate my bare legs. I hope you had a lovely, relaxing child-free day!
