@Sooverthemill I'm pretty sure I used to have that H&M t shirt in every colour going, they were the best neckline/ fit! I wish you could still get them, their newer ones aren't the same.

Back in my yellow trousers today although I've since added socks and jumper, miserable outside again, hoping it will clear up so I can go out for a run later.

It's warm here today talk about all change from yesterday!

@Sooverthemill Hobbs fits perfectly into my “smart/casual” style, half of my winter wardrobe is from them. Re: The Cat, she’s always lurking on the bed behind me in my pics, sometimes you can see her, sometimes you can’t. It’s like I get out of bed and she gets in.

@coffeeandcardigans I can’t resist a stripey top. Stripes and shirts are my weakness.

It’s been the last of the lovely days here for a while, I hope everyone’s managed to make the best of the sunshine while it’s here!

DH and I celebrated his birthday early today and went out for lunch as he's away with work for a lot of the next 3 months, so I'm a bit smarter than usual today. Basically the same outfit as I wore for my birthday the other day as I felt really bloated and didn't like anything on me this morning but this dress is v forgiving. Can't say I feel any less bloated after a 7 course tasting menu, but it was delicious.

Earrings - unknown brand, from a local (well, local to my parents') boutique

Excuse the mess behind me, it was the end result of my trying on most of my wardrobe and immediately taking it off again!

Here's my walking ensemble 😆 Berghaus walking trousers, North Face Mountain Athletics vest and Arcteryx mid-layer. Awful weather up here so I'll be accessorising with a heavy duty Berghaus waterproof jacket and trousers 😂

DD said to me this morning why are you wearing a fancy dress & charmingly DH said I look like I should be carrying water in some old film ( I did have my hair in a towel at the time).
So I thought that this looked nice but now I'm wondering if I'm over dressed... although life is to short not to wear nice things.

Thank you for the shorts compliment. I really like these, possibly my favourite now. So much more confident this year about baring my legs! Not that anyone sees them....

Bit like @itssquidstella I have only practical outfits to share. I did wear actual clothes at some point yesterday but forgot to take a photo. Been riding a lot as I'm taking DD on a riding holiday next week so trying to get some practice in. I had a lesson today. I was terrible! I can do hands or legs right but apparently not together, sigh.

Riding tights - Amazon, so comfortable
T-shirts once normal T-shirt's that have been regulated to riding wear and are faded and misshapen but comfy and I don't care when when they get trashed. (M&S and unknown)

@Justonedayatatime11 it looks absolutely gorgeous, and I don’t mind a big handbag. The only thing putting me off is it being suede, we get a lot of rain in my neck of the woods.

Haven't had time to fully catch up with the thread so will do that now.
My outfit is M&S Ivy jeans, jumper from Sezane and shoes from crew clothing.
I've also taken delivery of a lovely new winter coat from Hobbs (20% off). No further purchases for me recently, am waiting with baited breath for the A/W collections as it's my favourite season but I don't actually need anything.
