It is starting to feel like autumn. I’m not sure how I feel about that - the summer seems to have passed me by somewhat. Lost in the timesoup of 2020 weirdness. It’s definitely looking cool and showery for our holiday (we’re going to Northumberland - I need not to be at home for a bit, I think we all do).

@OublietteBravo we’ve had a few nights away in Norfolk. The weather wasn’t amazing but to just have a change of scenery. Some naughty food and a break from work it was great.

I’m hoping we are going to get some more nice weather. Not quite ready to pack away my summer clothes!

@Shannith that's my everyday camping attire! Looks great. @OublietteBravo Northumberland is one of my most favourite places. We've only been in February or October half term in a cosy cottage with the dog and various puppies and lots of beach walks and castles and Chinese takeaways oh and kippers! I miss going away very much. We used to take MIL which was fun when she had dementia as she never ever knew where we were and would refuse to get out of the car when it rained ( so every time pretty much).

So I am in anew jumpsuit from H&M in the sales. Had my eye in it for a while but took the plunge in the sake and I love it! Only opened the bag this morning but kept it on, not sure about the loo, short zip at back may challenge me ( I have this weird thing where if I reach my right arm in the wrong direction ( for it) I faint. So that might be fun! I had a lie in until 7.57 today which was bliss. The broken nights with DD are getting to me, don't know how I coped when they were babies! Enjoy the last of the sun which is ruining my photos as my bedroom is south facing

I was too hot! Changed into cut offs...

Quite cool here today. Think we're due a storm later, although I doubt it will actually materialise, based on all the promises of storms last week.

DH told me my trousers looked "pyjama-y". He's probably right, but I like them, although I have switched the baggy jumper I was wearing for a different top as they really did look like pyjamas earlier.

Didn't bother with pictures at the weekend, I was particularly scruffy even by my own low standards

Yesterdays office outfit: Warehouse jumper, H&M jeans and New Balance trainers. Really should make more effort in the office but we have minimum staff in the building each day at the moment and I often only see one or two others when I'm there so it seems weird dressing up!

Very casual again today, GAP t shirt and jeans. Now wearing wooly socks and trying on a new jumper from the Oliver Bonas sale that I'm not sure about. Don't know if the off white colour is quite right on me and its very bulky. I've gone from very rarely shopping online to a bit of a shopping addict this year and I need to reign it in. This arrived yesterday along with a top and a belt that I knew I didn't want as soon as I saw them - I have no idea why I bought them at all

@coffeeandcardigans thank you! I love your first 2 outfits. The jumper is okay and pretty colours but honestly if you aren't sure then send it back. There will be other jumpers

Yes the jumper you are unsure about @coffeeandcardigans is pretty but I see what you mean with the bulkiness and then the cuffing/hem along the bottom means it is bulging in the wrong place it hate it when they design them like that! Why not just make it baggy all the way down!

I’m not sure about the Oliver Bonas jumper either @coffeeandcardigans. Can you still send it back? I can’t work out if part of the problem is just that it’s a winter weight jumper, which seems odd as part of an August outfit. I love the Warehouse jumper though. That looks great on you.

Two more (home) office days until holiday. Five more things on my to do list. Oh, and DD’s GCSE “results” due tomorrow. I’m definitely feeling a bit stressed. I think I just need to assign a block of time to everything that needs doing and stick to it (easier said than done).

I wore a French connection top and H&M jeans today. I'm sat in my bra and pyjama shorts with all my windows open currently. It turned out SO humid

Thanks for the jumper feedback. I'm returning it.. nothing in particular wrong with it but I just don't love it.

Wet and miserable here today. Back in the office wearing ancient Warehouse wrap dress (I'm going to miss that shop so much!!), and equally ancient FatFace cardigan, plus leggings because its just not that warm anymore. I had dark red Toms on in the office.

Really chilled day today. Started the day in Nike leggings and an old t-shirt for a long dog walk with DS, got absolutely soaked as it hammered down today. Lucy & Yak dungarees when I got home and dried off!

Morning! Today is my last day of work before holiday (in fact we’re setting off this evening and driving the first half of the journey - and I haven’t even thought about packing yet). It is also GCSE results day - I’m feeling a bit nervous.

I’m back at work and was in two minds about posting because my work clothes consist of the same outfits recycled regularly but I do try and mix it up a little. I love this jumper, it’s super cheery and linen so i won’t melt!

Everyone looks great! Isn't the weather weird? I was boiling yesterday and got up in the night to open all the windows again. Today the forecast is rubbish but it's actually warm and sunny. Am waiting for phone call from GP about DH who has had some weird symptoms and is fussing dreadfully. He is such a wimp about his health. I am such a cow. He's deaf so can't easily use the house phone. We ought to sort that out.....

So I wore the first outfit for all of 10 minutes then changed!

I have to confess that I have bought 6 pairs of jeans over the last few days. Hoping none fit....I just feel all my old blue ones are a bit wrong except the hush Alma which are definitely summer.

@crazyspaniellady I am a huge Hobbs fan but since I stopped working hardly bought anything! Great jumper

@toastfiend love those dungarees although I would never get away with them. And @OublietteBravo always love your French looking classic chic style but most especially those shoes!! (And I am not a shoe person at all).

Dress: Monsoon, because I realised that my first outfit (trousers Lilly Pulitzer, vest Next) looks like pyjamas.
