You have all looked fantastic all week. I haven't actually got dressed on a couple of days .... no excuse, just that we don't use video for Skype calls and that's been a lot of each day. However I am now forcing myself out of jeans and I have a week's holiday, a 90th birthday party and a date. And I'm a bit stuck. I have these three but not really convinced about any of them and might rummage some more.

I’ve got changed three times already as the weather is weird. DD is very unwell at the moment and yesterday I almost called 999 but held off. Anyway I think I will be in her room all day and night again so dressed for comfort now. Originally I was in a mix of vintage stuff which I was quite pleased with but practicality has won out

Thank you all. I think it's so long since I wore a dress, apart from a Jigsaw one recently, that I feel a bit fish out of water. I even dreaded replies in case they were a bit "maybe not ....".

Had to nip upstairs to get a jumper honestly the British summer is definitely unpredictable! As I was next to the mirror thought I'd take a snap as love this colour combination.

Thanks everyone. Usually I can cope but it’s been building up for a while now. Hopefully we will have a better day today and she will become more stable again.

I’ve totally given up on housework and hoping everyone else has? Just the absolute essentials.

I just feel wiped out at the moment. I think this long-term WFH (or living at work as my colleague so aptly refers to it) is starting to get to me. Holiday on Friday. Wish I could say I was looking forward to it, but I’m not. Seven days of rain and whining teenagers - ugh. I wish it was possible to go somewhere sunny - we’d booked Tenerife, but obviously that got cancelled.

@OublietteBravo I'm not surprised. You've worked solidly throughout the pandemic with kids at home to school, round up. You need a break! Are you staying at home or going away for a few days? I'm taking it easy this week after a hard time recently but next weekend I have to get off my bum and sort out the kitchen so it can be ripped out! I can't find any enthusiasm for cleaning or gardening at the moment either.

We went to DMIL's investiture for her new job yesterday. It was lovely to see DPIL and more of DH's family, although DS started squawking the moment we got into church, so we ended up in the school room at the back playing with puppets for most of the service!

Smarter yesterday.

Dress - Anthropologie, bought last year for DS' christening, so it was nice to get it back out again.

Much more casual today. Woken up with a headache and feeling a bit crappy so dressed for maximum comfort as working today but no meetings.

Oh like the t shirt @Sooverthemill and the trainers @OublietteBravo I know what you mean I've been working flat out had last week off but still actually worked so going to claim a few days back. There's no separation between work & home as well which makes it hard, our next house will have a separate office area!

Very rainy today. Not much planned but I'm going to have to get dressed. Suspect I'll go straight into my non summer wardrobe of jeans and Dubarrys. So boring but where I live pretty much standard.

I'm wearing a Superdry dress today. I'll probably wear it out with tights (I know, I know I really shouldn't with this dress), boots and a chunky cardi

It's been raining heavily this morning - I got soaked during my run! I'm going back to the Lakes for a long weekend then I'm back to work, so I've sorted my wardrobe and swapped some of my winter and summer stuff around.

Top is Jack Wills, jeans are Hush, and my PUG SOCKS LOOK AT THEM are from Accessorize.

@itssquidstella I am looking at the pug socks! Brilliant.

Wore this to walk the dog yesterday because it was both roasting hot then wet. Over the fields so seen only by some pigs and wasps competing for early blackberries thankfully. And DD who said I looked weird. She was wearing bright pink and black leggings, a taco cat T-shirt and bright blue crocs and didn't have a leg to stand on.
