Thanks for all the kind words everyone and it is right I do need to just be healthy unfortunately it's sat just in the place around my belly button that is the unhealthiest and need to get rid of it. Just sometimes seems like I'm at the bottom of a huge mountain 😬 considering I've just done a master's whilst working FT and my youngest was less than a year old when I started I'm sure I can do this as well, I just need to be persistent 😂

Today I wore something to feel a bit better.

So it’s rubbish weather and I couldn’t find the trousers I wanted to wear ( I searched and searched) so threw on this hoping it will hit up and I can change later. It’s going to be a tough day asDD is definitely on a downturn so I’m planning to do minimal housework and just read in between DD needing help. I also have to tackle my weight as it’s crept up and I’m Now Almost a stone heavier than in March and I have no excuse except that I’m eating when /what DH does which is daft as he’s taller than me and walks 8 miles, cycles 8 miles and swims at least once a day!
Tee: old hush ( incidentally one of the worst quality ones I’ve ever had but it’s such a pretty design)

I didn’t post yesterday - I was in my very unstylish painting clothes trying to finish off the bedroom I started decorating in May (it still isn’t finished).

I think I need to start giving my outfits a bit more thought rather than just throwing on the first thing that comes to hand (which is what happened this morning).

I'm not sure about my dungarees today. I wanted them for a while but they sold out online. They popped up on a selling group the other day and I snapped them up, but know I'm not sure. They're comfy, but not as comfy as my others, and I'm not convinced on them with a belt as they go a bit bunchy, but also think they make me look quite blocky without the belt. Part of it is that the small was a bit tight across my hips, but the medium is v big on me so there's no hint of a waist at all! I'm going to give them today and see how I feel, I think. Shown with belt and without belt for reference!

@toastfiend I think they look really good. Both ways, but especially with the belt. Have you intentionally missed a belt loop?

@Sooverthemill it was in business administration which when I was younger thought meant they taught you how to type and file 🤦‍♀️ I loved it particularly the strategic modules.

I love your skirt @Moonfacebiggins. I’m always scared I’ll spill something down myself if I wear light colours (during my PhD I ended up using the solvents in the lab to dry clean coffee out of the trousers I was wearing).

I’ve moved away from jeans today, but can’t quite decide whether the top is better tucked in or not (it doesn’t actually matter, as I’m still WFH all the time, so hardly anyone will see me). I’ve gone with tucked in.

Thanks everyone. I kept them on all day and I think I do like them. Might experiment with different belts to see if that helps. There's a tailors down the road who are really good value so I might see if they're able to take them in a bit at the waist, too, as I think that will help. @excelledyourself, haha, I got dressed in a huge hurry before a meeting so it's entirely possible I missed a loop! 😂 I think it's that the belt loops are so close together at the front, though, so the belt buckle obscures one of them. That might be one of the reasons I'm not sure on them with a belt, actually, as they look a bit lopsided or something with only one loop visible!

Just been riding the pest of a horse who showed me up by pretending she can't bend. She can but needs 10 mins working in before she decides that she's a horse not a plank.

Top - old fat face regelated to riding top currently covered in horse slobber after her dentist session today
New riding tights - FitsT4 (no idea) - Amazon. Very very comfortable indeed.

I very nearly spent an obscene amount of money on some new riding boots earlier this week only to spot a woman selling a nearly brand new pair for half the price on the local Facebook horse group. They are arriving tomorrow and I'm very excited.

I've booked a riding holiday for me and DD at the end of August so it's my version of holiday shopping. I like to be the very definition of all the gear and no idea.

Went to the charity shops today for the first time in many months. Bought some lovely things- will show them off when I have washed them!

I went for a cycle today and ate healthily so one step up the mountain!
It was cold this morning then hot. So started in a skirt and t shirt got cold so swapped to jeans and jumper then it got hot so swapped to shorts. So 3 outfits in one day!
